I recently had the absolute pleasure of staying at the enchanting Hotel Le Suffren in Mauritius, and I must say, it was nothing short of magical. From the moment we stepped into the hotel, my daughter and I were transported to a world of pure elegance and grace. One of the true highlights of our stay was the culinary journey we embarked upon at the hotel's restaurant, where we had the privilege of being dazzled by the extraordinary sushi chef, Ritchy. His artistry with sushi was a revelation, and the flavors danced on our taste buds like a symphony. In fact, it's safe to say that this dining experience was the pinnacle of our culinary adventures in Mauritius. During our stay, a minor maintenance issue cropped up in our room. However, I was absolutely astounded by the swift and professional manner in which the duty manager addressed the situation. Not only did they resolve the issue with precision and care, but they also surprised us with a gracious refund for one night's stay. This unexpected gesture of goodwill touched our hearts deeply. Hotel Le Suffren is not just a place to stay; it's a haven of exceptional hospitality and grace. The staff's dedication to ensuring their guests' happiness is nothing short of extraordinary. I am profoundly grateful for the level of care and attention we received during our stay. If you're seeking a truly enchanting experience in Mauritius, I wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Le Suffren. It's a treasure trove of delights, and the staff's commitment to creating memorable moments is simply unparalleled.

The exterior of this hotel is beautiful. I loved all the water activities available. I cannot express enough how amazing the staff is. They looked after me at all times and made sure my stay was comfortable.

The owner and Isabelle were absolutely fantastic and their messages and instructions were crystal clear. Sadly both of our mobiles could not pick up a roaming signal anywhere on the island at anytime Whilst the entrance gate is directly opposite the church the name of the property is not on the gates it is named "Elba" so it was a bit tricky to find and we spent 45 minutes locating it We loved the fact that Port Louis is a proper community with virtually no tourists whatsoever

The house was the perfect escape—tucked away from everything, yet it had a special charm that instantly made us feel at home. Waking up to the sunrise right from the window and ending the day with a sunset in the garden was truly unforgettable.

The apartment was lovely, comfortable and clean. The facilities were great, gym, pool, restaurants and bars.

We‘ve been to many hotels and this one had the best customer service we‘ve ever experienced in any hotel. All were very welcoming, supportive and we felt that they worked with a lot of passion. They make you feel at home while on vacation and exceed all expectations. Out of all employees here are the ones with exceptionally outstanding customer service. First and forememost: Karine Pierre as well as Niv and Joana who made our dream come true to have a vow renewal at the beach. Furthermore, Emy, Shelia, Berty and Darel from the breakfast team; Kavish, Vimal, Preet and Aarty from the dinner team; Nass&Jerome from the pool; Noémie and Kendra from Kids Club; Meva&Reshmi from the room cleaning and Ashvin Beezadhur from security (who did everything to find items we had lost and actually found them). They managed to put a lot of smiles on our faces and we could name many many more. We had a family room which had beautiful view directly a few steps from the beach; room was big with all facilities one could wish for (even one of big beds was designed so that kids could not fall out), with hairdryer, iron, 2 sinks, a bathtub as well as shower; kids club with numerous activities; many activities also for adults changing every day during day and night (eg Creole lessions, shows, live music etc); kids-friendly; free water in rooms ; very good price/service ratio for hotel; spa&fitness room; hairdresser&massage services; presents e.g. also for kids; that it was possible to check in earlier; pools; water sports facilities at boat house; security (one felt very safe at all times); outstanding food quality and diversity (it was very very delicious and we met people who were before at other hotels and they also said the food is much better in this hotel) and much more. A big thank you to the whole team and we can highly recommend this exceptional hotel!
