The hotel is absolutely new. Our room was spacious, fresh, and very clean, with a nice and well-maintained bathroom. If I ever visit Arugam Bay again, I would definitely stay here again — out of all the hotels in this price range, this one is the best! The hotel is run by a very polite and kind family who made us feel welcome. The location was excellent — on the main road, within walking distance to cafes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and just a 10-minute tuk-tuk ride to the beach, but you can also walk to it (20 minutes) It was quiet at night, and we had a very peaceful stay. There’s also a lake next to the hotel, where elephants sometimes come to drink — a beautiful sight to witness. All guest rooms are located on the second floor. They also plan to open a restaurant soon on the ground floor.

Whisky Point Hotel Meera is a beachfront property set in Pottuvil, 300 metres from Whisky Point and 10 km from Lagoon Safari - Pottuvils. There is an in-house restaurant and free private parking.

This family-run hotel was incredible. The hosts were so kind and helpful - they drove us wherever we needed and helped with everything. The home-cooked food was delicious, with huge, satisfying portions that we looked forward to every day. We truly felt at home and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended!

Simple rooms just steps from the beach. Good for people who want quiet and to be close to the sea, you can hear the waves in the room, No people, you have the whole beach to yourself. Great value for money. The manager is nice, takes care of all the needs, and make good food. I came for few nights and extended my stay, I think it's a gem.

Would you like to experience paradise? We did! Eco Aloevera Garden is a place where you may see see the beautiful empty beaches, wonderful sea landscape and such a unique atmospere! Great place to visit out of the tourist season - which we did, March was great choice. The owner and stuff soooo friendly, meeting all the needs. Local meals provided based on our preferences, so delicious! Great clean, cosy little houses in shady garden filled with beautiful palm trees. We just live it all :)

We arrived at Whisky point not knowing what to expect. All I can say is that it exceeded our expectations in every way! We ended up extending our stay and became great friends with the owner, Nicola and his entire team! The rooms are tastefully decorated and very comfortable! Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner were exceptional! It could be the best Pizza I have ever eaten in my life. The fact that you are living on the beachfront, which is super clean with no crowds and a few minutes walk away from Pottuvil Point where you can catch good surf when the swell is good or swim off the main rock when its flat, makes this place the perfect location, away from the madness of Arugam Bay which can get super crowded. You can catch a tuk tuk to A Bay and be there in 10 minutes if you want to go into the A Bay. I am going to miss this place and my friends and will be back for sure! 10/10 all the way!

The location was great. If you don't want to stay in crowded Arugambay this is the right place for you. You have your own pirvate beach, a little cabana, good food at the restaurant and it is the cleanest hotel we have been in Sri Lanka.

We had an amazing stay at Bay Dreams Beach Hotel. From the minute we walked in, we were welcome with smiles and incredible service. The staff are friendly and super helpful. We were served with delicious breakfast every morning, which we looked forward to. Rooms are clean, and the aircon works well. We recommend this place to any and all travelers looking for a home away from home in Arugam Bay. We will be back :)

The hotel is SUPER! The best hotel during my entire trip to Sri Lanka (I was in more than 15 hotels in 24 days). Very cozy atmosphere. There are only 6 bungalows in hotels, it's not overcrowded. Delicious food, better than in the most cafes on the island. Very comfortable and friendly hosts! The pool is great! Everything is thought out - deck chairs, a place for sunbathing right in the water. The pool is surrounded of palm trees! It's about 50-100 meters to the sea. The only negative thing for lovers of flat water is big waves on the coast. Therefore, I spent 3 days next to the pool and absolutely happy about this! ))) But also it has a very beautiful sunrise! The room is big and comfortable, very clean. the stuff cleans the shared areas every day, and the private rooms by request. The stuff is very nice and polit! The resort is the closest to the ocean - I can literally here the ocean from my hammock, there is a private hammock for every room! I used the laundry service it was good, also fair price (compare to the town). There is an AC in the room. Its not too close to the city - and not too far, every thing is so close so you can get there by 2 minutes. and I like that distance! So you don't here the parties and firework during the night... Great WIFI! and a digital nomad and I could work from the room - there is also a table for the computer!
