Beach Hotels in Hikkaduwa

Stunning, brand-new, incredibly friendly hotel. First of all, this property looks exactly like it is in the pictures: private, luxurious, comfortable, and beautiful. There are only 11 rooms including the superior room with a huge terrace. All rooms have balconies or terraces, so you can enjoy your time looking at the beach and ocean waves or busy and funny Hikka’s streets. In your room, you will have everything you might possibly need. You won’t want to leave that bed, it's so comfortable and was made for your best sleep. The pool is big and clean, you will have plenty of options for where to get your tan: on big beds, on covered or open chaise lounges, on the grass, or near the pool. The territory itself isn't that big, but it's well taken care of, clean and functional. You can get access to the 360• view terrace or enjoy some time in the gym. There is a bar and a kitchen for your comfort, you should definitely get some milkshakes and Caesar salad! We have walked near almost every hotel on Hikkaduwa’s beaches and even big, branded and famous ones aren’t even close to Dormero. As for breakfast, you can get a traditional one or choose one of many options, including omelets, bowls, sandwiches, waffles, and many more. No matter what you choose, it will be delicious. And it is very hard to even start talking about personnel. Everyone there has only one goal: to make your stay as good as possible. There are some securities, who constantly check on the property’s safety; barmen, who will make you the best cocktails; cleaners, who will clean up the room every day… And Franziska! What an angel! She will help you with ANYTHING, she will become the best hotel manager in your life, you won’t want to leave just because of her 🥹 We loved them all! (Also, there is a cute dog Kiki and monitor lizard that checks on you while you are getting sunbaths ☺️ ).

Beautiful design! Clean room and exeptional staff. The breakfast was also one of the best ones in Sri Lanka.

The hotel is located right on the beach, not far from Galle, and from the rooms you can have a panoramic view of the vast beach in Hikkaduwa. The rooms are spacious and equipped with smart home appliances, a kitchen, an oven, tableware, and all the necessary facilities. The food served at the hotel is particularly outstanding and delicious! It was the best meal I've ever had in Sri Lanka! The hotel staff are very friendly! We had a great time in Hikkaduwa!

This apartment made a huge impression on us and exceeded our expectations. It had everything we needed to enjoy a relaxing and comfortable holiday. The beautiful lake view from the balcony, the delicious restaurant, and the perfect pool were all highlights. Surrounded by peace, quiet, and stunning nature, it’s an ideal getaway. A special mention goes to the wonderful staff – incredibly kind and always ready to help with anything. Highly recommended!

Everything was positive. There were beautiful flower vines by the window of our room.

Temptation was such a gorgeous hotel, the pictures don’t even do it justice. The rooms were so nice and the whole place was spotless with housekeeping every day. It’s in a great location too close to everything. Would highly recommend and it’s very reasonable for what you get 😃

Great location in a small, peaceful and very smiling community. Gorgeous setting by the lagoon. Close to the main road with plenty of great food options. Walking distance from a lovely buddhist temple. Delicious breakfast with lots of fresh mango in season!! Room super clean and tidy.

The owners are very friendly. In the shared fridge we had stored a good supply of water for cooking, but another guest took all of it. The owner kindly brought us new water, which we really appreciated. The rooms are very clean and beautifully decorated! The surroundings are lovely as well. We originally booked for one night but extended to three because we felt so comfortable and at home here. There is also a kitchen on the upper terrace with a wonderful view where you can cook your meals.
