Beach Hotels in Hikkaduwa

Stunning, brand-new, incredibly friendly hotel. First of all, this property looks exactly like it is in the pictures: private, luxurious, comfortable, and beautiful. There are only 11 rooms including the superior room with a huge terrace. All rooms have balconies or terraces, so you can enjoy your time looking at the beach and ocean waves or busy and funny Hikka’s streets. In your room, you will have everything you might possibly need. You won’t want to leave that bed, it's so comfortable and was made for your best sleep. The pool is big and clean, you will have plenty of options for where to get your tan: on big beds, on covered or open chaise lounges, on the grass, or near the pool. The territory itself isn't that big, but it's well taken care of, clean and functional. You can get access to the 360• view terrace or enjoy some time in the gym. There is a bar and a kitchen for your comfort, you should definitely get some milkshakes and Caesar salad! We have walked near almost every hotel on Hikkaduwa’s beaches and even big, branded and famous ones aren’t even close to Dormero. As for breakfast, you can get a traditional one or choose one of many options, including omelets, bowls, sandwiches, waffles, and many more. No matter what you choose, it will be delicious. And it is very hard to even start talking about personnel. Everyone there has only one goal: to make your stay as good as possible. There are some securities, who constantly check on the property’s safety; barmen, who will make you the best cocktails; cleaners, who will clean up the room every day… And Franziska! What an angel! She will help you with ANYTHING, she will become the best hotel manager in your life, you won’t want to leave just because of her 🥹 We loved them all! (Also, there is a cute dog Kiki and monitor lizard that checks on you while you are getting sunbaths ☺️ ).

The hotel is located right on the beach, not far from Galle, and from the rooms you can have a panoramic view of the vast beach in Hikkaduwa. The rooms are spacious and equipped with smart home appliances, a kitchen, an oven, tableware, and all the necessary facilities. The food served at the hotel is particularly outstanding and delicious! It was the best meal I've ever had in Sri Lanka! The hotel staff are very friendly! We had a great time in Hikkaduwa!

The location was perfect. Right on the beach in front of the surf breaks. Staff were absolutely amazing, so genuine and helpful. The room was so clean big and comfortable. Great air conditioning. Surf board hire as well so easy to get out into the surf. Our favorite accomdation in Sri Lanka. We ended up extending our stay here and coming back again.

We booked a room in this villa to finish of our Sri Lanka trip and we were rewarded an amazing stay here 😊 The staff is very kind and helpful. We loved having chats with Thilina and he took great care of us. The rooms were very clean and spacious including hairdryer, minibar, safe etc. Being first row at the beach, you can enjoy a swim in the sea and listen to the ocean sounds while relaxing at the pool. You can opt for either English or Sri Lankan breakfast. We choose the latter and loved it (especially the coconut rotties). In the evening, you can enjoy dinner at the villa prepared by the villa chef or take a tuktuk for about 400 LKR to Hikkaduwa beach where you’ll find plenty restaurants at the beach as well. We can definitely recommend both.

Truly everything. The property is perfectly designed in taste and quality. But on top of that it’s the human touch that makes the difference: Mr. Sunil is special and makes you feel special. He takes care of all the details and suddenly you truly feel at home. I couldn’t recommend it more! Amazing stay!

Amazing sea view with relaxing Resort. Staff were really helpful for us. Bed linens were really clean. Nice & Clean swimming pool. Dinner was yummy & many option to select. Wifi connection was good in all rooms.

Very nice place, besutiful room, nice people, lovation at The beach and near all the redtaurants! The food in Neelas place was also very delicious! We enjoyed The place!
