Nicest place we stayed in Sri Lanka. After many nights with a family all in one room in was so nice to have some space and just look out at the amazing view! Use of the pool was also lovely. Shanuka popped round on the first night to help us with ideas for our visit and has been a great host.

This iconic and colonial-style hotel, built in 1864, boasts a spa and a saltwater pool with sun loungers that faces the vast Indian Ocean.

The breakfast was nicely plated (but the same, same- fruits, eggs, toast), and first place in a long time where they have coffee machine and decent espresso coffee! They also have room service Room was clean, recently renovated and fresh. The bed was comfortable although for me the pillow was too high and big

They organized an airport shuttle for me at 3am and my rooms was ready for when I arrived ! Super nice staff ! Great for solo traveler! The location is perfect, the area is super safe and on the main road to go anywhere super fast. Would recommend :)
