Everything was great, especially the host. We were looking at the apartment because of its view and location just between Castelmola and Taormina (we like to walk when it's scenic). We were "unlucky" when we could only book the standard apartment at first (which has a view to the opposite of Etna). But surprise surprise, the host was so lovely they upgrade our apartment for free because they had late cancellations (I think). And we even got a bottle of prosecco to further enhance our stay. The host even recommended a few nice restaurants in Taormina. Overall, a great place I would definitely recommend, especially if you can get the Apartment with a terrace. And yes, some apartments on Castelmola have similar views, but none are also as clean and nice-looking as this. They only have a great view, but this apartment also has order and cleanliness. P.S. If you're up for a short hike, go to Monte Veneretta (you can see the views from it in the pics)

The Perfect Stay in Taormina. Thanks to Carlotta & Alberto! Our stay in Taormina was nothing short of magical, and that’s entirely thanks to our incredible hosts, Carlotta and Alberto. From the moment we arrived, they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, comfortable, and truly at home. The apartment itself was perfect. It was immaculately clean, equipped with everything we could possibly need, and located literally a minute walk from the charming main street of Taormina. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning was a blessing after warm days out exploring, and the windows brought in beautiful natural light and fresh air. But what truly made our experience unforgettable was Carlotta and Alberto’s warmth, thoughtfulness, and hospitality. They didn’t just host us. They helped us arrange a half-day visit to smaller, off-the-beaten-path towns that we never would have discovered on our own, a highlight of our trip. To our surprise and delight, they even provided us with free tickets to the Taormina Film Festival, an unforgettable evening in one of the most iconic settings in the world. And when it was time to leave, they made sure our return to the airport was smooth and stress-free. Staying here felt like visiting old friends who just happen to live in the most beautiful town in Sicily. Carlotta and Alberto’s hospitality, kindness, and attention to detail created memories we’ll cherish for years to come.
