I would highly rate this island hotel for an amazing luxury break. The hotel's style is elegant & thoughtfully designed, creating a serene & luxurious atmosphere. The staff are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to ensure guests feel welcome & comfortable. The service is top-notch, with attention to detail and a genuine commitment to making your stay unforgettable. The food is delicious & fresh fish is the order of the day. The breakfast menu is extensive & the salads at lunchtime were divine (try the cauliflower salad it’s to die for!). The beach is perfect for swimming, snorkelling & just watching the world go by. The array of boats that moor up in Mandraki Bay means there is great people watching to be had!! There is cute taverna next door for a local lunch or dinner if you don’t fancy hopping on the hotel water taxi into the port. The complimentary water taxi runs all day to & from Hydra port which is such a stunning trip & never got old even after a week at this gorgeous hotel. Shout out to the owner Arthur for being so present & knowledgeable about Hydra, always ready to offer advice on restaurants, walks etc when asked in a charming & understated way. Thank you for sharing your special piece of Greek heaven!

It is a fabulous spacious house. The views are fantastic. All amenities are catered for. Keeping the character of the island house and Hydra. The outdoor space with its gardens and private seafront access was amazing.

An exceptional property and an amazing large terrace with comfortable couches and sun loungers. A large terrace with both a covered section and open area. A private terrace is a very rare commodity on Hydra. It is the perfect spot to chill out for breakfast and after a day exploring the lovely walks and hikes on Hydra. The host family were exceptionally welcoming and the apartment itself, while small, is very highly equipped. Better than my own home in fact. The hosts kindly left water, wine, marmalades, coffee, bread and baked goodies - a really nice and much appreciated gesture. All the basics are provided: washing liquid for dishes, wash powder for the washing machine, bin bags , loo rolls and toiletries. As per other reviews, the, location is perfect although there is some music sounds from a nearby bar but this is not obtrusive. The property is perfect for a couple. Our daughter decided to join us and her bed was the couch in the living area. a little tight but it worked. The photos on booking.com are very accurate so study them well.

I had the most wonderful stay at Vassia’s home. Vassia and John were very helpful and welcoming. The house has the most magical views and sunsets. I loved being based a little out of the town and near the beach at Kamini. It’s very peaceful. The house is homely and has all you need. I loved staying in and cooking, with view of the sea, and spending time on the dreamy terrace. I hope to return!

Perfect location in charming village. Apartment spotless and the host popped in to say hello. There was beer and water in the fridge and coffee in the cupboard. Accommodated early and late check in.

Everything! The hosts were adorable and very easy to contact, the 180° view of the sea is breathtaking and absolutely unique, the village is calm and safe, the room very big and clean, the welcome pack with coffee, biscuits etc delicious. Just know that the Studio is situated on top of a little hill 35-45 minutes walk from Hydra port so you have to be in good physical condition because you can only get there by water taxi or foot (water taxi takes 5 minutes for 25 Eur.. which didn't run for us because of bad weather!). No supermarket in Vlichnos, but there is a good restaurant (Taverna) and a nice beach 3 minutes away by foot!
