This was by far the best hotel experience that I've ever had! Already at the welcoming they were so kind to us and gave us Prosecco. The staff was extremely helpful with carrying the luggage and providing us with information about the Restaurants/Shops around the Hotel. The beds were very comfortable and it was an elegant room. The beach bar, the pools, everything was amazing and also very clean. The absolute Highlight was the Restaurant staff. Me and my mom have several allergies and the staff went trough the whole buffet every morning and evening with us to make sure nothing is contaminated. They also cooked special gluten free delicious food for me. A big thank you to the Restaurant for being so kind and warm-hearted!!! I will never forget this vacation and would love to come back again!

Our stay at Nikolas Apartments was absolutely wonderful! The host was incredibly kind and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The apartment was spotlessly clean with a relaxing and charming design that made us feel right at home. Throughout our stay, the host checked on us daily, offering help with anything we needed and providing excellent recommendations for local attractions and reliable car rentals. We couldn't have asked for better hospitality and would definitely recommend Nikolas Apartments to anyone visiting the area!

Very nice apartments, exactly as described on Booking. There was an iron, a washing machine, and a kitchen equipped with all the necessary utensils for cooking. The hosts were very helpful and warm people. They also own a beach restaurant – the food there was delicious, the staff very attentive, and the prices really good.

This 5-star spa resort is directly on the sandy beach of Amoudara, west of Heraklion. Tennis courts and 3 outdoor pools are featured amidst its 40,000-m² garden.

We visited just 2 days after the start of the season and stayed for 7 days. The hotel was very well maintained compared to some other Mediterranean locations we've stayed in. The food at the main restaurant had some daily variation with some themes days in between. The quality of the food was always great, especially the local vegetables and meat / fish on offer. Do try the Flavor restaurant with the wine pairing if you can, it's a great way to get away from the chaos that buffets can sometimes be. We loved the onsite gym which is on par if not above some dedicated gyms in terms of equipment variety & quality. The fitness activities are also great! I can recommend the bike tours offered by the hotel, the mountain and road bikes they have are very well maintained and even for me at 2.07m tall there was something available. Give the archery course a try! Hendrick did a great job at explaining everything and helping us improve over time! Hotel staff was incredibly friendly and helpful any time of day and no matter the question. The guest service will try to accommodate any request you might have. Overall we loved our stay at Candia Maris and will definitely come back next year for another relaxing holiday.

It’s about a 3-minute walk from the sea. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. The apartment had all the necessary facilities for a comfortable stay - including a stove, cutlery, frying pan, fridge, and more. The apartment is also just 3–4 minutes from the nearest bus stop, making it easy to reach a large supermarket in about 15 minutes (smaller one was within a 10-minute walk). The airport is approximately 40 minutes away by bus. There’s also convenient parking just around the corner if needed.

Sofoklis, the manager of the hotel, is the highlight of our stay. He ensured that we were comfortable and enjoyed ourselves. He and the staff were moving around non stop to care for the customers. The food was good, hotel amenities were great too! Beautiful private beach for the hotel and a lovely pool to swim and lounge around The hotel is right in front of the bus stop to town so it was easy enough to go around
