Secure bike storage arranged by very helpful staff. The room was very comfortable and well equipped and the pantry was very welcome. Rooftop bar was great and breakfast good.

Mick was super friendly and accommodating with letting us leave our luggage there earlier in the day until our room was ready. We unfortunately didn’t get to enjoy the breakfast as we had to leave early in the morning but it looked like there was going to be a good spread. The bed was one of the comfiest I have slept in in a while with my favourite type of sheets so I slept like an absolute baby. Mick was also kind enough to call a taxi for us in the morning as we were having trouble getting one. Both the bedroom and bathroom were sparkling clean and you can tell the property is well-maintained. Location was great and was only a short walk to the beach and a Tesco around the corner. I wish we were staying longer to appreciate this place more.

It was a wet and windy day and the calm, cheery welcome I received was brilliant: gave me the simple instructions about entry out of hours (I'm visiting a friend in care), and breakfast details etc. I really felt I wasn't 'just a customer'. I was upgraded too, to save energy bills, but much appreciated. The room, as were all the facilities I used, immaculate and cozy, and the breakfast simple but just what I wanted! It was in a pleasant area just 10 minutes walk from Margate close to the promenade, and overlooking a bowling green (nobody using it - they probably couldn't unfreeze the balls off the green!). The whole stay was perfect for me, and I could see it was for the other guests I 'bumped into' too. A very pleasant experience, and as Arnie Schwartzeneggar said, "I'll be back!". 😎
