EVeryting was delightful Beautiful little cottage. Everything new and very clean. Very comfortable. Excellent location ina very quiet square with a large sycamore outside the bedroom window - 100 meters from Quay Squre with all the cafés, retsaurants, shops.

Really nice room with a great balcony and view. Loved fhe in-room gin station. The spa was great too.

In Hope Cove fishing village, the Hope and Anchor Inn boasts excellent sea views and fresh seafood. It has a bar and restaurant, and is opposite the beach.

The cottage was just as we'd hoped, cosy with everything you could need and a beautiful sea view! Shaun, (sorry if I have spelt that wrong) is a lovely host, a great sense of humour and very welcoming! Stoke lea Farm Shop is only a short drive and great for local yummy supplies. They even have a tap house where you can take away flagons of beer or cider :) From the cottage, you can walk to the beach easily, there's a lovely cafe/restaurant there and also a kiosk for snacks/good coffee! There is also a sauna on the beach now. The Green Dragon in Stoke Fleming is a great pub but be aware, they mainly do Pizza's for dinner. They have the best pub dog 'Clifford' who comes out after food is finished (photo attached)! There looks to be a lovely restaurant with fresh seafood on the menu in the village so definitely check that out! Dartmouth is only a short drive and we can highly recommend getting the ferry to Kingswear and having dinner at The Ship Inn, a buzzing pub full of locals, music and delicious food! The last ferry back is at 10.45pm :)

I loved everything about my stay. I received a very warm welcome from Gary on my arrival. Check in was easy no fuss which I appreciated. I had a room with a balcony which was a bonus. I cannot wait to return. My only gripe was the distance to the Railway Station which of course cannot be helped ! That said I have walking difficulties but, but there was a lift at the accommodation which was brilliant and helped so so much. Thank you guys for a tremendous, relaxing, comfortable stay.

It was a really great stay with lots of little details. In the morning you get a picnic basket with your breakfast in it and there is always plenty to eat (yoghurt, croissants, cheese, eggs etc.) We had a great attic room and felt at home. The hosts (including the daughter) are really great people and we felt very comfortable. Many thanks for everything and take good care of yourselves. PS: "the Seagull :-)"
