Just the perfect place….. perfect location, beautiful room in the midle of the forest and some steps from the beach…. Awa is located at the most beautiful beach in Puerto Viejo. The personal is unbelivable friendly and helpful. The breakfast is amazing and also the dinner in the restaurant. Awa is just perfect, we liked it so much. Absolutely a must see and must come back place :)

wonderful!!! Loved every second of our stay! great location 50m next to Punta Uva beach, with magnificent garden (and many animals in it!), clean, comfortable and well maintained houses, very helpful staff - basically all you need for a proper vacation. fantastic value for money, we loved it!!!

Nice, spacious apartment in a great location right next to the beach. I stayed for 4-nts and could have easily stayed longer. Well stocked with everything I needed to feel at home. And Cris was such a wonderfully kind host. I’ll definitely be back!

    Great location and beautifully set in jungle beside beach . Free yoga and jungle walk excellent . Staff very friendly and helpful . Only cons would be it’s worth making clear and ocean suite beachfront doesn’t necessarily mean an ocean view as this is what we assumed and also need a lot more beach loungers as always in short supply . Overall would highly recommend

    The semi-private beach was amazing. The hotel had the beach lounging dialed in with seating on the beach, and a deck about 30 feet off the beach. They serve coffee near the beach (starting around 5am) in the morning and drinks at night. Breakfast was pretty good with decent portions. The resort had a super nice market attached. The room I had was quirky but cool. It was a great value for money.

    We really enjoyed our stay. I think we got lucky with the room we received. We had direct beach access and enjoyed making coffee and walking out to the ocean every morning. We also liked having a kitchen with a fridge helping us lower expenses on our trip.

    Loved the friendliness & helpfulness, in hotel right on the beach! Our cooking area was open air and pretty "rustic" Ignition system lights gas when bottle is open. Restaurant downstairs serms to have $20-30 meals. Cant really swim here due to rocky beach. The Negro beach (black sand) seemed to have swimmers.

    Extraordinary great hotel with modern and spacious rooms, very friendly staff and a perfect location at the ocean front. Especially the beach bar is wonderful. Fresh drinks and snacks all day long while you can relax on the beach couches. Also the restaurant is very recommendable.

    The hotel is in a perfect location in Puerto viejo, in the center and close to the best beaches but still quiet during the night. The rooms were very clean and tidy, equipped with everything you need. The owners are very friendly and kind they gave us very nice advices. Highly recommended!

    This hostel is right on the beach (Playa Cocoles) which is a huge plus. The beach is one of the better ones in Puerto Viejo and great for surfing too. The dorm beds were fine and comfortable however the rooms are absolutely tiny. If full with four people it is quite a squeeze with bags and items everywhere.
