Apartment was spacious and clean. Kitchenette was well equipped. Big, comfy bed. Small terrace overlooking railway lines and lake. Easy check in and out process. Others have noted noise from the railway, but we didn't find this an issue at all.

The Seiler au Lac enjoys a peaceful location at the bank of Lake Brienz, with steamers and free buses to Interlaken stopping right in front of it.

Hotel was clean, location wise is perfect. Finally a hotel which they don’t treat you as a guest but more as a family member. Also thank you to Stefan and all the members for the excellent hospitality.

I absolutely LOVED this hostel. It's just a beautiful as the photos show. The character of the heritage building is lovely. It oozes with the feeling of a secluded summer lodge, yet is close enough to interlaken to get to everything easily. The staff were kind, helpful and welcoming. They provided me gluten free buns for breakfast.
