Situated in Hydra, near Avlaki Beach, George Kountouriotis Manor and Hydra Port, La Maison de Marie Geraldine has a garden. Warmly welcomed by the hostess, great accommodation with a beautiful view, nicely decorated, very clean and kids/baby friendly appartement. The staff was so keen to allow us to check out late as our ferry was leaving in the late afternoon.

Very comfortable studio flat in the best location side street from the port so very central but quiet. Very clean and with everything we needed. Staff was friendly and helpful.

We had the Vorias room which had the fantastic private terrace. The view over the harbour was spectacular. We loved just watching all the boats coming and going below us. Getting up to this accomodation is quite challenging with luggage but this is explained before you book. It is not for people with mobility issues but it is definitely worth the effort plus it's a good CV workout! It says there is no breakfast but we were pleasantly surprised that there is a kettle, coffee, tea, fridge, orange juice, biscuits and water provided. At the bottom of the steps before the climb up, there is a lovely bakery so we bought a few items for breakfast there.

The location, the view, the room was clean, comfortable and spacious and cleaned on a daily basis. We received clear directions and videos on how to get there via whatsapp, so everything was well organised. Yes, there are steps up to the property, but we didn’t mind them at all., definitely worth it to have those views and beautiful accommodation. Unfortunately, we had to make a quick trip to the hospital, but Matina (the host), popped in while we were in there, to check we were ok. She really was amazing. Thank you, Matina. Can’t wait to go back to Onar Hydra again next year!

The location was not far away from town but far enough that it was very quiet and peaceful getaway. The apartment was spacious and very clean and beds were super comfortable.

The room was sparkling clean, the lady who took care of our room was super kind and polite, smiley and helpful! Amazing breakfast in the cafe downstairs with full menu to chose from and in a fantastic location! The room is spacious, bright and very well maintained. Really really worth it!
