What we liked was the large modern clean spaces, large covered deck, comfortable mattress, kitchen, and the concierges were super helpful with everything. The location was outside of the old town and off the main street and very quiet.

We had a great stay at Palazzo di Irene. Our room was very quiet and it had all the necessary amenities we needed. Our host, Noni, offered the best support and went for the extra mile to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. For sure we will be back to Palazzo di Irene in our next trip to Chania.

I loved living in a traditional stone house for a few days. It was amazing to directly overlook an archaeological site, and the location was brilliant, just a few minutes' walk to the harbour. The room was spotless, and Martha has thought of everything. The traditional sweets and raki were a nice touch, as were the small vases of flowers on the tables outside. There were fresh lemons in the garden. I loved every minute.

The host was very nice, friendly and ready to help. Advised us wonderful meat restaurant (Throumbi) nearby, we enjoyed it a lot. Appartment is clean and new, bigger than expected. Kitchen has all necessary appliances. Very good windows that protect from the outside noise. Even though there were roadworks we could sleep quite well.

There are simply not enough words to describe how amazing this apartment is. As the other reviews and its title mention, it is a dream home. The owners go out of their way to make your stay as luxurious and comfortable as possible while regularly checking in to see if you need anything. Their generosity is unmatched, a fridge full of essentials, a breakfast and a fruit basket with delicious high-quality items. The apartment is in a quiet neighbourhood and close to all sights and delicious eateries. It is a one minute walk from the bus station. Everything in the apartment is thought through and little details such as beautiful lighting and a nespresso/frappe machine make your mornings beautiful. We will definitely be back and I couldn't recommend this stay more. It makes 5 star hotels such as the four seasons and the ritz carlton look like amateurs. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!!
