24 km from El Corte Ingles, Quinta do Freixo is a recently renovated property set in Elvas and offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. Upon arrival we had high hopes for the week long stay we booked for our family. The cottages themselves are lovely. But the rest of our stay was a disaster.

Pics are very accurate! Parking on site is free & convenient! Ms Lita shared many insights for things to do & places to eat. Sadly, I was only able to stay 1 night in this Beautiful peaceful abode. Hopefully, I'll be back soon! Note - If you are smell sensitive/allergic, you might consider advising of that as a special request in your booking. It was very fragrant during my visit.

The accommodation offers a fireplace. Beautifully presented and gave us a huge mound of delicious fruit which was extremely welcome after a hard days walking. Comfortable, homely and clean. I requested an earler check-in and Catia (the host) kindly allowed it. The place was very easy to find and super central to all Evora sightseeing spots. There's a lovely local grocery shop nearby (with a kind owner and delicious fresh-baked croissants ~) and many local restaurants around. The apartment was super comfy (a perfect size for one person or a couple) with new furniture and fully equipped modern kitchen. Catia even explained to me how to use the stove (a brand new one!) over the phone. I would definitely love to come back and stay here again! Thank you, Catia! Thank you, Evora!
