This is a small hotel next to Medina entrance. It was easy to find and good for those who has a big luggage. The hotel is cute, Silwa (i hope the name is correctly indicated) was very helpful and agreable. She gave us a city map with some suggestions and we enjoyed this small trip.

We ended up staying for 4 nights instead of 3 as my husband was poorly. We stayed in a suite on the ground floor and it wasn’t noisy and very comfortable with a seating area and a tv (you can really only get YouTube if UK). The breakfast was typically Moroccan and very good. We ate on one of the 3 terraces but if it is too cold you can eat in your room. The guys who own/run it are lovely and cared for us well. The location is a very short walk to the medina and convenient for everything (note it is an extremely steep walk if you decide to walk from the bus station - I believe it is about 18-20 dirham for a petite taxi) We loved Tissemlal restaurant in the medina; great food.

It is an apartment above a Moroccan family’s home and it was such a great experience. The location was easy to find via Google Maps, just look for “House Naim.” The apartment was so clean, spacious, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Unfortunately, it rained a lot during our visit, so we couldn’t enjoy the beautiful terrace, but it looked absolutely lovely. Hopefully other guests will get the chance to spend time there! Although we had a thunderstorm with lightning and even a short city-wide blackout, the apartment was so cozy that we didn’t really mind staying indoors. Shortly after we arrived, the host lady brought us a huge tray with a warm welcome tea and Bissara with bread, so delicious! Later, we ordered dinner and she surprised us again with two large trays of homemade Moroccan dishes. Everything was cooked with so much care and tasted amazing. This just continues with the breakfast ;-) Communication went smoothly through her husband, who speaks good French. Even though the host lady’s French is more limited, we had no trouble understanding each other. She is such a lovely, kind person! And the children were very friendly as well!

The whole apartment is very clean and big, It exceeded our expectation. Although it is not inside the medina, but the location is good, you can directly arrival there by car and only 5 minutes walk to the Medina. It is almost locate at the highest point of the city, you can look the whole city from your balcony. You can walk through the whole Medina by feet from where you stay. Definitely recommended to stay there when you come to Chefchaouen.

The communication with Omar was so efficient before and during our stay - he organised our lifts to and from the airport and everything was so smooth. The breakfast is fabulous as is the lovely lady that came to prepare it each morning. We have had an amazing stay and it was a bonus each having our own bedroom.
