Patti is a wonderful host who is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The accommodation is tranquil, surrounded by beautiful nature and wildlife, in the middle of the forest. The town is easily accessible via a pleasant 30/40 minute walk. I spent 4 wonderful nights relaxing and will for sure be back.

This is one of Panama's hidden paradises! Shortly after we booked this place we got in touch with the owners who gave us a lot of useful information. We were very well welcomed and the apartment met our expectations. Katherine and Michell are wonderful people, very welcoming and nice. They invited us out on a trip along the river to see the nature and the small waterfalls. Their big 4x4 car took us on roads we didn't think were possible for cars to drive. We saw tamarins, many birds and squirrels from our terrace. The garden on the site is very well maintained and a pleasure to see!

Very unique place with super-nice hosts Katherine and Michel ! The apartment was spacious, with private entrance and dedicated patio and parking space. Large saloon with well equipped kitchen and separate bedroom. Comfortable for longer stay. One must only remember to bring own groceries, there are no shops or markets nearby. Altos del Maria is a special place, an enclave in the mountains with guarded entrances. Special microclimate, with comfortable 28-29 degrees when on the coast in the same time was 35. The flora in this valley was surprisingly unique, different than in any other place we’ve been in Panama. Very helpful and nice hosts, before arrival explained how to get through the Altos gates and find this place in the middle of the valley. We also had some quality time together with our hosts, drinking coconut water from their own palm...

This is wonderful appartment with exceptional view to the Pacific Ocean. Exceptional sunrise and set. I was delighted that I did not want to leave. The appartment had everything you need. Especially dryer was useful for swimwear and towels. The communication with Ritu and Stephan was smooth and questions were answered immediately. Marcelino was extremely helpful in the lobby. I will definitely go back.
