Make sure to complete pre check in (send passport photos etc) before hand. Entry code is easy to use and very convenient! Extremely cleanly unit. Incredibly spacious accommodation compared to most hotels in Japan. Easy to find location from Hakata Station (follow tracks and you’re there), also there’s an amazing Sentō (bathhouse) nearby, however, the bath in the unit is amazing! Press 給湯 to get hot water out (preset to 40 C, can be adjusted) and select amount of liters. Super cool!! Press おいだき to reheat bath!!!! Amazing. Very comfortable beds, good sound proofing. I would love to stay here again! Self check in and self check out went very smoothly.

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Ukune for 6 nights, and it was a fantastic experience. The room was tastefully designed, spacious, and the bed was so incredibly comfy—we slept like babies every night. The location was perfect, just a short walk from Gion Station. We were greeted by the friendliest staff and the hotel owner, who welcomed us with a delicious vegan cake she baked herself. It was a lovely touch! We also tried the hotel's vegan restaurant, which was one of the best meals we had in Fukuoka. Throughout our stay, Fujita was incredibly helpful with any questions we had. The service here was truly above and beyond anything we've experienced in Japan. Hotel Ukune is easily one of our favorite stays, and we'd love to return if we ever have the chance. Thank you for your amazing hospitality!
