Location is perfect. Very central in Menaggio but not noisy at all. I stayed in apartment 1, a one bedroom apartment which was more spacious than I expected. Everything worked properly and was very clean. Kitchen had a Nespresso machine and 4 capsules ready for use. Fridge had a 1.5 litre bottle of water and a bottle of white wine. There was also a Bialetti coffee maker and everything else you might need for a week or two stay. WiFi was excellent and easy to connect (by scanning a QR code) and there was a smart TV which was able to connect to YouTube, Netflix and Prime. There were even umbrellas in the common hallway for guests to use on rainy days. The staff were very responsive and friendly. Serena was the person I met and she was very helpful and had very good English. I had a small plumbing problem on the first day of my stay and it was sorted out later that same day when I was out and about. Also, Serena arranged getting a taxi for me in the last day of my stay at short notice. All in all, one of, if not the best places I’ve ever stayed. Highly recommended.

It was a great apartment that had everything we needed. Clear check in instructions. The location is very central. Great restaurants are just a few steps from the place. Super comfy bed. Warm apartment during winter time (late December). Cool design details. Nice promenade and cafes all just outside of the house.

Absolutely everything. This property, the pictures do not do is justice! It’s beautiful, spotless clean, cozy, loved and we really did not want to leave. Fantastic facilities, located steps from the lake and exceptional host who really goes beyond the extra mile to provide a perfect experience.

We spent 3 wonderful nights at Stella’s apartment and couldn’t be happier with our stay. The location is unbeatable – just steps away from the peaceful main square in Menaggio, close to grocery stores, the church, bus stop, gelato shops, and many great restaurants. The apartment is tastefully decorated, very clean, and fully equipped – air conditioning, heating, washing machine, dryer, ironing board, iron, kitchenette, and more. There’s also a small table and chairs outside – perfect for morning coffee. The neighborhood is quiet and relaxing. Communication with Stella was excellent – she responded instantly and gave helpful advice throughout our stay. Highly recommended! :)

We stayed at Sarah's Place for 3 nights. The communication beforehand went smoothly and Stefano already welcomed us at the entrance. The apartment is located in a larger residential complex in a quiet area above the centre of Menaggio. There is a reserved parking space in the area. The rooms were very nicely furnished and everything made a new and very clean impression. The kitchen facilities lacked nothing, there were more than enough pots. Stefano had also taken care of the first meal: there was a basket with a package of spaghetti, a jar of tomato sauce, a bottle of wine and a packet of coffee. WLAN worked without problems. Stefano was always helpful with questions and tips for the area. You should allow 20 minutes for the walk down to the ferry at the harbour and a few minutes more for the walk back uphill. Trips to Milan are also easily doable. Just take the ferry to Varenna and board the train there, which takes you directly to Milan in about 65 minutes. To Bergamo you need about 80 minutes and have to change trains once.

Perfect location for seeing the main attractions in Lake Como! Short walking distance from the ferry and only 15min ferry ride to Varenna where the train from Milan stops! The appartment itself is exactly as described and looks like in the pictures. There was only two of us staying so very spacious for us as there is two separate floors :) Host was very friendly!

A truly lovely stay. I especially enjoyed the small stream behind the house – the sound of flowing water added a special charm and peaceful atmosphere.
