I chose Garni Golf becoz of its high rate before I aeeive in Ascona. The moment when the owner showed me the apt I was still surprised by its well arrangement, cleaness and comfy. I asked for a sofa bed and kid cot and they are all well organized when I entered the room (I feel like they read my mind). The owner couple Giuseppe and Rita are very much helpful and patient. They solved our problem of parking, and offered lots of clean towels the next days for our personal use. We got the tallest floor apt and need to climb up the stairs,but what can you complain, when it offers a nice high lane view for you to enjoy the lago maggiore new year firework.

Wanda was a wonderful host! We arrived late and did not have time to shop for food, so she gave our kids some of her cereal bars :) The property is located in a residential area, across the street from a park. It is very calm. You will need to drive (or public transit) to Locarno, but is close to the centre of Ascona and there are groceries a short drive away and easy access to other routes. The apartment was very clean and everything looks new. Our family of five was very comfortable there. We recommend!

The apartment has been furnished and equipped to a very high standard and is extremely comfortable and easy to live in. There are impressive views from the large balcony over the Alps. Lake Maggiore is about ten minutes walk from the property, and there are shops and supermarkets close-by. The bus and boat connections to the many places of interest around the lake are excellent. Alex, the owner, was extremely friendly and helpful, and did all he could to make our stay so enjoyable. We will deffinitely be going back.

Location was great for Ascona, kitchen was well stocked so all you'd need for a simple breakfast was maybe some cereal or eggs. Theres even butter and milk in the fridge. Bottle of wine in the fridge was a really nice touch as well! No noise problems during my stay. Communication with host was good enough. Room was plenty of space for two people.

The view and balcony are breathtaking, even better than I thought it would be! The apartment is a great size and shower etc were all good. I was pleasantly surprised. The location is great, just a few minutes walk to the promenade and shops etc. I would recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to stay in Ascona.

    Great Location with walking distance to Promenade and Restaurants. Short walk to Bus stop. The Apartment was clean and Comfortable with view of Lake. there where some stairs to Apartment which was not a problem for us. it was nice to have A/C and a Parking spot near by. The owners were really nice and helpful.

    Beautiful and quiet property, modern flat, kitchen with everything needed. The staff is very friendly and available to accommodate requests. We'll be happy to return! The location is great, 5-10 minutes walking distance from everything you might need, 5 minutes drive to the Lido.

    Marco was a wonderful and friendly host and made sure we had everything in order. The apartment had everything we needed, and it is evident that things were well thought out with the guest in mind - he even provided disposable indoor slippers!. The kitchen was new and fully equipped (except for a microwave). Beds were comfortable, toilets clean and had ample space. House was spacious, with a large and confortable sitting room. Great view from the two terraces. 100% would stay here again!
