This is someone who goes out of her way to ensure you have a good stay. She's efficient, friendly and kind. With huge parades in the old town on the day we were leaving, she realized that we wouldn't be able to get the taxi booked and even though it was her off day and the weekend, she arrived to escort us to a part outside of the old town and organized transport for us. She really is a star. We really enjoyed our spacious, spotlessly clean and neat apartment with the balcony an added bonus. The location was so perfect in the old town, you could walk everywhere and we were surrounded by restaurants, bakeries and a grocery store. Very close to the Rathuis and market square.

They were well prepared with maps on which they marked Christmas markets and the closest trams. They also provided Basel cards which were helpful when moving around the city. The room was big, tidy and included a kitchenette ( the kettle, combined with the tea bags from reception kept us warm). Also there are other appliances in the lobby that you could borrow. The buffet breakfast was quite diverse (having the option to make fresh orange juice was appreciated).

We came here for competition so it was perfect location. Check in was fast and friendly. Rooms are simple but nice. Comfortable bed, I like that the socket for charging your phone is located next to the bed. Hotel is very clean, wifi worked good. Breakfast was tasty, even coffee. Pleasant bonus, there is coffee machine on each floor and also mineral water and apples. So you can drink coffee or tea any time and no need to buy water.

Private parking spaces are available on site free of charge. The apartment was very spacious and nice. All the basics that you need. Good location. We came by car so everything was easy to get to. Closeby supermarkets, gas stations and the city of Aarau was easy to get to by car. Even if not visiting by car, there is public transport very near the hotel.

We stayed here in July, and I was genuinely impressed by how thoughtful and accommodating the staff were. When we requested fans because of the summer heat, they didn’t just give us one or two — they provided enough for every bedroom and even one for the living room. That kind of detail really shows how much they care about guest comfort. We stayed in a 3-bedroom apartment, which was spacious and very well laid out. Each bedroom had its own bathroom, and there was even an additional toilet in the living room — which was so practical for a group like ours. They also brought us electric kettles when we asked, and when we pointed out that the sofa leg was broken, they fixed it right away — no waiting, no fuss. Everyone we met was polite, respectful, and eager to help. It’s hard to find places that go this extra mile, but this one truly did. I felt so comfortable here, and I already know this will be my go-to place whenever I return. Highly recommended!
