We love to lie on the bed and watch the forest view. It's so peaceful. 10/10 for the view. Kitchen was clean and equipped with enough kitchen utensils, pan, pots and even a French press for coffee lovers. The bonus: I saw a wombat near the golf course every sunset throughout my stay and lots of wallabies near the cabins.

Pelican Point Sanctuary is a unique wetland and grassland 87 acre property located 2 kilometres from St Helens, on the road to Bay of Fires, Tasmania. Of all the places we stayed in Tassie this was by far the best! We stayed in Blue Wren which had 180 degrees of view and most of this was floor to ceiling. If you like bird watching this is the great place to stay as it has a hide which looks into the estuary, if not sit back and enjoy the view as the bird life will come to you!!! Alternatively wander/cycle along the newly built walkway into town which is also worth a visit. The facilities were luxurious and had a real wow factor about them. When we're back that way I'll certainly be staying here again.

Just a 5 minute walk away from the centre of town, Castaway Holiday Apartments is located in Strahan. WiFi access is available at this self-catering accommodation. Excellent apartment, very good equipped and in good area. You can walk down to the cruises and restaurants in less than 10 minutes. The service was very good and very friendly. A good place to be, we had a wonderful stay.

The Masons Cottages is an excellent place to stay while visiting the Port Arthur area of Tasmania. The cabin I had was large, clean and exceptionally well stock with cooking utensils and a wide selection of snacks and wines. I could not have been more pleased with my accommodations.

Old Bishop's Quarters offers 5 different and unique 1-2 bedroom apartments, within an acre of gardens, with water or mountain views. I loved this little cottage! A quiet, private and peaceful idyll which was just what I needed for the week. Blooming roses by the entrance and a lovely little garden were the icing on the cake! On site parking was great - as was the use of the shared washing machine. The owners were helpful and kind- I couldn’t have asked for more.
