Clean, modern, good shower, comfortable beds, window which sealed out noise and light so we were able to have an excellent and quiet night's sleep. The entry and exit felt secure and the location was good. Also excellent value overall.

The property is recently renovated and is a truly beautiful place to spend your first night on the Camino. Located directly near the Tourist Office, opposite a Bar, with Supermarkets within walking distance, and only metres from where you will continue your walk, Villagrado Suites provides the perfect stopping point. The rooms have a beautiful view over either the quaint Grado square or the mountains (depending which way you are facing), provide new and large bathrooms, a very roomy elevator (2x people plus hiking bags OR 4x large adults), electronic locks for easy remote/late access and are soundproofed; I couldn’t hear anything! Most importantly though, the people who run and manage Villagrado are incredible. They are the heart and soul of the Camino experience and represent what we all hope to find on our Pilgrimage, or even our short holidays; passionate, kind, patient, and willing to assist in any way. My flights were delayed and it meant my first night in Oviedo was cancelled and I had to move everything to Grado to begin at only 1x days notice. This meant I had to reorganise my bag pickup (my travel bag being sent forward to Santiago), organise how to get from Oviedo Station to Grado (20kms), and organise a late check-in… Jose and Said were incredible. They communicated in almost real-time, providing everything from helping me get from Oviedo Station to Villagrado (Said picked me up personally and was such a great human), reorganise my bag pickup (Jose came in early the next morning to ensure my Bag was ready and tagged for DHL), and even organised me a Pilgrims Pass so I didn’t have to wait for the Tourist office to open, and organised me my first stamp from the Bar/Cafe opposite. They were simply amazing. In short, stay here if you can… for the room and location (sure), but for the people, the kindness and the commitment to ensuring you are made welcome and never forget Villagrado 🙏🏻

We love the apartment very much: well-equipped facilities, very clean, and nice location (10 min walk to train station and Alsa bus station, and 5 min to supermarket); besides, a nice italian restaurant just across the street.

This studio room was excellent. Located in downtown Gijon close to the harbour and historic centre, there are plenty of restaurants, bars and cafes nearby. We appreciated the fan in the room and the little extras that were provided. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great stop on the Camino for us.

The apartament is outside city center, but in a walking distance. It is well equipped, clean and cozy. A great advantage is the private parking, as parking places in Aviles are not easy to find.

Everything was great. The room was clean. We really enjoyed the big bath in the middle of the room.
