Even though we’ve been lucky enough to travel to some beautiful places, this truly felt like a dream vacation—absolutely spectacular. The resort has fantastic facilities, from a well-equipped gym to a tennis court, soccer field, and even padel. I spent more time exploring the island than in the gym though—walking around paradise is a workout in itself! The staff were wonderful, and both the buffet and à la carte restaurants were excellent. We were lucky to be upgraded from a beach villa to a water villa, and I have to say, it made a world of difference. If it’s within your budget, I’d definitely recommend splurging on a water villa or one with a private pool. We saw so many sharks and colorful fish right from our deck—it was magical. We also went for the all-inclusive option. Even though we’re not big drinkers, it felt worth it just for the peace of mind. Everything is priced in USD and things can get quite expensive, so it was nice not having to think about every meal or drink. All in all, an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend!

Facing the beachfront, Sun Siyam Olhuveli offers 4-star accommodation in South Male Atoll and features an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre and garden. Excellent service, beautiful resort, great Snorkeling and good good!

Villa Nautica Paradise Island Resort offers private villas and bungalows on an idyllic island in the Indian Ocean. The resort features an outdoor pool, 4 restaurants and a spa. We loved our stay at Villa Nautica (water villa). The food was amazing, the staff really friendly and the room was top! 10/10 - would book again.

Bandos resort is a private island located 8 Km away from Male. Bandos Maldives features spacious rooms with balconies overlooking the garden or beach. We enjoyed our stay in September, 2024 at BANDOS Island. The island is located quite close to the airport, which makes the transfer very comfortable. The accommodation was perfect, the room service was excellent. The food at the main Breeze Restaurant was varied and tasty. Due to our late departure we needed to prolong our stay, which was kindly organized, even though the hotel was practically full (special thanks to Russian speaking receptionists). We will definitely recommend BANDOS for the beautiful and comfortable holiday. Looking forward to come again.

Offering a year-round outdoor pool and a private beach area, OZEN LIFE MAADHOO - Luxury All Inclusive is situated in South Malé Atoll. 🐬We came to Ozen Life to celebrate my father's birthday as well as Chinese New Year. 🐍 Every staff member we interacted with was extremely friendly. Mr. Forty was our Butler. He made everything easy for us and arranged heartwarming surprises for my dad. Best Butler ever! There were a few bars and restaurants on the island. Our favorite was Peking Chinese restaurant. Chef Zhou made delicious authentic Chinese food for us. It was so good, we went back the next night. Chef Zhou took the time to recommend different dishes. He also shared a lot of valuable insights about life in the Maldives. He was kind, humble, and needless to say, a fantastic chef! I've lived on 4 continents. Chef Zhou's Chinese food was definitely top notch world class. 🤤 Mr. Munnu from the Indian restaurant knew we liked lentil soup, so he made sure to bring us some even when it wasn't on display at the buffet, so thoughtful of him. Yummy! Nita, Siri, Ahil and other restaurant staff were so good to us. We remembered Nita, Siri and Ahil specifically because they had gorgeous smiles. Sheshkanta kept our room spotlessly clean and restocked whatever we needed everyday. He was always so energetic and jolly when we met him. He was also a wonderful artist. GM Elizabeth kindly helped my mum when my mum fell. She also wrote a sweet farewell card and came to see us off at the jetty. Our favorite activity was the sunset cruise, mainly because we got really lucky and saw pods of spinner dolphins. I've been to the Maldives before. My days in Ozen Life were truly special. We would be delighted to revisit in the future.

OBLU NATURE Helengeli by SENTIDO reopens with an all-new vibrant look set to entice your senses. Was very nice, as the name is nature the island was according the name.

Set in Thulusdhoo, a few steps from Bikini Beach, Samura Maldives Guest House Thulusdhoo has a private beach area, private parking and rooms with free WiFi access. We booked here after a last minute disappointment from another hotel on the island. I cannot fault the staff, so helpful, so friendly, just all round brilliant. Breakfast is cooked fresh to order. Would be good if they could have an all day dining option and not pre booked meals for a certain time. Also the excursions and so forth are great value for money that they can organise. It's a little gem of paradise hidden, unspoilt.
