Nova This review will be fairly long, as the level of care, professionalism, attention to detail and sheer joy we received is hard to put into a short review. Here’s the TL;DR before the long version: Don’t think twice, book Nova. It’ll be worth every penny, the facilities are top notch and state of the art (barely 2 years old) and the staff is the most amazing in the world. Now, let’s dive in. The experience begins with Ms Zhou at arrivals welcoming you along with the front office team. You’re shown around the island, where you see Wink (the social hub of the island), the state of the art gym, and white sand beaches. The villas are out of this world, spacious, well ACed, and with good access to the water. You don’t spend much time in the room however, because you’ll be eating at Soul Kitchen, where Evi, Bee, Sinhala, Anggi, Manoj and the wok-master himself James prepare you the best meals at restaurant level you can have. Not once do you feel like it’s a buffet, because the quality is so high. At breakfast, make sure to grab a sweet bite from the pastry chef Ms. Bee, or a perfectly cooked each time eggs Benedict from Anggi. At lunch or dinner, be sure to get a live-cooking rice from James, Sinhala or Manoj - the wok hei taste is something that you cannot replicate without their years of experience. Big shout out to Chef James for helping me build up my spice tolerance. The state of the art cooking is supplemented by the attentive staff, who don’t let a day pass by without pampering you. Huge thanks to the entire team, especially Mohammed, Shaee, Jailam, Angunn, Lee, Heidi, Fitri, Kadek and of course Muneeb. When catching the sunset in the Solis Pool Bar, a cocktail from one of Sri Lanka’s best - Sandun - is a must. (Though the first place is closely tied with Krishan from Wink, also Sri Lanka). Sandun makes the perfect cocktails, easily carries the conversation and has insightful comments. Wink - the social hub of the entire island.

Featuring free WiFi, a restaurant and a barbecue, SeaLaVie Inn offers accommodation in Ukulhas. The rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV. Everything was perfect. The apartment was clean and very cozy and it gives you the sea vibe with the blue colors. The hostess was very nice and friendly. They helped us with transfers in other islands.

The staff is incredible, they are attentive to all your needs and very friendly. Room was clean and comfortable, with a direct enter to the water and space on the beach. Food is tasty and varied. The island environment is very beautiful, house reef is very nice to snorkel and dive. I would highly recommand!

Amazing resort, the reef was alive with the best snorkeling, the staff were brilliant and we had the most romantic and relaxing break away from life!

Boasting a shared lounge, Koimala Hotel is situated in Maamigili. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, free shuttle service and full-day security, along with free WiFi throughout... We had a great stay at Koimala! All staff were so friendly and helpful, with nothing too much of an ask. They organised amazing excursions for reasonable prices- we saw whale sharks, turtles and Manta rays (go pro footage was sent to us for free after!). The room was very clean and well kept and we were even offered a free upgrade for our last few nights.

Located in Rasdu and with Rashdoo Bikini Beach reachable within 1.1 km, Ras Rana Lodge provides express check-in and check-out, soundproof rooms, a private beach area, free WiFi and a fitness centre. Mujah is a great host. Since I arrived in Rasdhoo, he was already waiting for to take me into the hotel. His attitude and service towards the client is amazing. The hotel is cozy and extremely clean. Two options for breakfast.

The staff were friendly at every interaction. The buffet was great, and the drinks, cocktail and wine selection was extensive (Must try the Espresso Martini!). The app makes coordinating everything easy, and shows all of the options across the resort which made it very easy to track bookings and decide what to do. There are additional excursions, spa treatments and dinner options that are payable as an extra charge to the all inclusive

Among resorts in Maldives, Outrigger Maldives Maafushivaru Resort is the ultimate island epitomizing all that one dreams of when thinking of the Maldives. We had a fantastic experience! The overwater villa was superb, the food was unbelievably good, and the staff was friendly. The place is very well-cleaned, with the whitest softest sand and flowers everywhere. Dmitrii was super helpful and made us feel comfortable and cared for: he was very friendly and pleasant to talk to, explained everything, gave attention to even the smallest details and somehow just instantly made us feel relaxed. He also suggested we take a spa treatment, which was fantastic. We also learned a lot from him about the Maldives, seasons, different types of activities and so on. So if Dmitrii is your manager, you are in excellent hands. They have several restaurants and a coffee shop where they sell deserts, coffee and milkshakes. There are a lot of cosy chairs to sit on, we never struggled to find a spot - be it near the pool or under a roof or with the view of the ocean. The watersport centre offers many activities, but we only took fins and did some snorkelling. We saw a lot of fish, and even a relatively large shark - it's harmless though, and we were really looking to find it, you won't encounter it when simply swimming :) The food deserves the highest review: the variety of fruits and vegetables, delicious hot dishes and bites, all sorts of souses, salads, bakery. The chiefs are professionals, everything was perfect. Literally, every detail is taken care of, all that was left to us is relax and enjoy.
