Nestled beside 1 km of private sandy beach, Shams Alam Beach Resort provides fun and relaxation in Wadi Gimal Nature Reserve, with an on-site diving centre and camel riding opportunities. I liked everything about Shams Alam Resort. The food was excellent, with a lot of variety including gluten-free bread, and desserts. The location was great too, fairly close to famous diving spots like Sharm El Luli and Dolphin Reef. The hotel has good facilities, like wellness center with hairdresser, an exceptional organic essential oil shop with lots of other authentic Egyptian art and souvenirs. The hotel receptionists are very helpful with booking trips and taxis. There is also a diving center and they make trips to beautiful reefs such as Hamadi islands and other amazing snorkling /diving spots. I loved absolutely everything. Don't expect a brand new hotel, it is one of the oldest hotels in Marsa Alam but well taken care of. Old but gold!
