We were very happy at this location. Very kind staff, perfect and varied food, daily cleaning, shows organized every evening, that's all you need for your vacation. We rented a car from the hotel to visit the island and we recommend it. They also provided us with transportation to and from the airport. We hope to return next year accompanied by friends. The Pantheon Hotel was just perfect for our needs, it had a great location, staff were exceptional, rooms were large and clean with a little balcony area, rooms had air conditioning and fast wifi, extra blankets and pillows, hair dryer and toiletries. The pool bar was a lovely little area, the owner made us a cocktail which wasn't on the menu but was lovely! We didn't have the breakfast but it smelt and looked lovely each morning. There is a Lidl a 10 minute walk from the hotel, another supermarket, bakery, pharmacy and smaller shop only a 3 minute walk away, and a couple of local restaurants within walking distance too. The Kompos Taverna is a must visit! It took us an hour to walk into Rethymno which was a nice sea front walk for the most part, and was only 10 euros for a taxi and took about 6 minutes. The hotel was quiet while we were staying but there is a car park with ample parking if you have a rental car.

The staff was exceptionally helpful and welcoming. Breakfast buffet was very extensive and delicious.

The Rethymno Village is just 100 metres from the fine sand and blue sea of Platania’s beach. It offers a Greek restaurant and a fresh-water pool with pool-side snack bar.

The service was 5 star. From the minute we walked in we were greeted with a fresh orange juice, a wet face towel as it was an uncomfortably hot day and a glass of water. Our bags were trolley up to our room. We were upgraded and our view was special. Location was great. Free entertainment every night. Every morning there was an impressive breakfast spogaaboard to choose from. Staff were impeccable. Pools were inviting. They have is a lovely little gift upon departure. Main market was a 15 min walk. Banana lounges were inclusive. They gave us complimentary watermelon on the beach. 10/10

It is in a super quiet surrounding, still 2 minutes from the sea. Staff was friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast served was varied and plentiful. There's a rooftop swimming pool which has a nice view of the sea as well (although we didn't use, just went to have a look). Spacious room, comfortable bed. Thanks
