The hotel is located close to one of the top beaches in Crete (Amoudara), but also very close to Heraklion. The rooms are very nicely furbished and have decent cleaning services. Very good selection of food and beverages in a lovely buffet-area. Nice relaxing areas in the hotel garden and on the beach. Lovely evening entertainment. Very friendly reception staff: they were prompt with hotel facilities, but also arranged a spotless early check-out (Special Thanks to Alexandra and her team!).

The beach is beautiful, the sea was warm! There are lots of plants and palmas! The food is perfect, every lunch and dinner can eat various types of food! All inslusive includes everything what you need in a good holiday! The staff are superfriendly and consuderate! We must have to come back again!

We visited just 2 days after the start of the season and stayed for 7 days. The hotel was very well maintained compared to some other Mediterranean locations we've stayed in. The food at the main restaurant had some daily variation with some themes days in between. The quality of the food was always great, especially the local vegetables and meat / fish on offer. Do try the Flavor restaurant with the wine pairing if you can, it's a great way to get away from the chaos that buffets can sometimes be. We loved the onsite gym which is on par if not above some dedicated gyms in terms of equipment variety & quality. The fitness activities are also great! I can recommend the bike tours offered by the hotel, the mountain and road bikes they have are very well maintained and even for me at 2.07m tall there was something available. Give the archery course a try! Hendrick did a great job at explaining everything and helping us improve over time! Hotel staff was incredibly friendly and helpful any time of day and no matter the question. The guest service will try to accommodate any request you might have. Overall we loved our stay at Candia Maris and will definitely come back next year for another relaxing holiday.

Everything was clean. Every day room was cleaned and we became fresh towels . Food is great and always good served. Everybody are so friendly and nice. We must to give 5 stars to positivity of Kristina, Filip( Servis) and barman Dimitius( apoligaze if I spelled the names wrong). Reception girls are verx kind, and menager is always there for guests. The Hotel is a real 5 stars, with extraordinary facilities! Since we arrived, they welcomed us with champagne and offered us the access to all the facilities even if the room wasn’t yet ready (arrived around 11 am). We had a sea view room with astonishing views, extremely clean and very beautiful style. The hotel is amazing, situated on the edge of a cliff, very nice architecture, modern look but classy at the same time. They also have access to a beach (the water is very clean). The food is very good! Very tasty and diverse, amazing sweets, and there are also the a la carte restaurants. Also the drinks are very good (imported, not local), bartenders are professionals, high quality products, from coffee to spirits or cocktails. The Staff is also professional, everyone is kind, polite, well trained and they really do their best to make you happy. The pools are great, with clear salted water, and bars around. I can say it’s the best hotel we’ve been in the whole Greece (not only Crete), and we saw more than 10 5 stars hotels in Greece till now. There is nothing I didn’t like, this is a truly 5 stars! 10 of 10 from me, and will come again for sure!
