The location is incredible, close to the train station, close to all the bars and restaurants and a short walk from the beach. The hotel is huge, and I especially loved the swimming pool.

The staff were very friendly, everyone from the gatemen/ women, the transfer drivers, the receptionists, the cleaners, chefs and most especially the waiters. They were all very lovely people. A special shout out to Miriam who attended to us throughout our stay. She was there at breakfast and dinner (which was our package) but she didn't look tired from the long shift and was always smiling. There was no client she couldn't relate with both children and adults; she made guests feel really welcome and comfortable. Likewise others staff members, they made the atmosphere feel calm and relaxing which was what my family and I really needed. A very big THANK YOU to the team. Also, the food was great 👍, with slight changes to the menu on all the days we stayed there. I am usually not adventurous with food but on this occasion, I tried foods I will normally not eat and loved them!💗💖 The environment was also clean. I can go on and on but overall it was a lovely place to be. My kids didn't wants to leave and would like to visit again.

The breakfast was delicious, and the pool is truly outstanding. From the pool, you can enjoy breathtaking mountain views, making it a perfect place to relax on a sun lounger. The idea of hosting a pool disco and playing water ball is fantastic. Another great advantage is the convenient shuttle bus service to the city center.

Gran Hotel Costa del Sol is located right on La Cala de Mijas Beach. It features a shallow swimming pool, and rooms with balconies and lateral views of the sea.

The hotel and beach club was superb. Plenty for the kids to do. Very clean and comfortable rooms Any small problem and they fixed it.

I returned there twice in 3 weeks. And it means something! Both times I was upgraded one level up - from half board to full board / from breakfast to half board. And both times from side view to the sea to full view although hotel was fully booked. Great food, you can find something different every day. 20-30min drive from Malaga airport. Beach, restaurants around.
