Glentanner Park is a holiday park and activity centre offering affordable accommodation and panoramic views of Aoraki Mount Cook and Mount Cook National Park. We booked one of the units ( bedroom+private bathroom+kitchen) and it was super comfortable and had a wonderful view over Mt.Cook. We had plenty of space and the kitchen was extra clean and super equipped. The staff was also extra nice and was very welcoming! Also, it was only a short drive (20min) to the park visitor’s centre and most famous hike trails!

Located in Lake Tekapo in the Canterbury region, Mount Cook Station Huts features a garden. This luxury tent provides free private parking, a shared kitchen and free WiFi. It was a real privilege to be able to spend two nights at this fantastic location. Our hut was very comfortable and the nearby shared kitchen and bathroom hut was well equipped. Our host Alana was very welcoming and provided lots of useful information. We spent a lovely day at the station doing the nearby suggested walks and were lucky enough to watch the early morning clouds lift and get a view later on of Mount Cook. The clear skies on our second night afforded us a great view of the Milky Way. By the way, the gravel road up to the station is by no means difficult to negotiate and the end result is most definitely worth it.

Featuring garden views, Mount Cook Station Shearers Quarters Lodge in Lake Tekapo features accommodation, a garden, barbecue facilities and a shared lounge. The place is lovely and in the middle of nature, the best we had on our 10 days trip on the south island. We stayed in 'Tom's hut', this is detached from the main building but right next to it. The hut is very cosy and the heating is very strong. We also really liked the common areas with the big kitchen and the fireplace with firewood. While staying there, we hiked across the farm and beyond on land that's not public to enjoy the beautiful scenery, a unique experience. Thanks Alana for being so helpful and for her kids showing us the farm animals :)

At Haka House Aoraki - Mt Cook, adventure and comfort merge in a warm and inviting atmosphere. very modern, clean, aesthetic hostel with beautiful view. the kitchen and living room are large, there are enough showers and bathrooms, the room was cozy but a bit small.

We love that it was surrounded by mountains. We were there when it was raining day and night but the room is comfy and cozy enough to stay in and cook.

Situated in Mount Cook National Park and offering beautiful mountain views, Aoraki Mount Cook Alpine Lodge is a 5-minute walk from Sir Edmund Hillary Alpine Centre. Clean room, great location. Met many interesting people in the common kitchen/living space. All you need to prepare meals is there.

Featuring a hot tub, Silo House is set in Lake Tekapo. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. The apartment has a terrace and a hot tub. This was by far our favourite stay I've ever had, world wide! The property is architecturally amazing and furnished and finished to exquisite standards. It is so clean and has absolutely everything you could need. Our hosts guided us to the stunning and perfectly remote location of the property and we're very kind. The skylight is an obvious bonus and the hot tub was stunning, I believe natural cleaners are used as there was a lovely essential oil smell rather than harsh chemicals. The bed was so comfy, the shower had great pressure and temperature. So much privacy, gorgeous sunset from the balcony, I've never felt so comfortable and so lucky to be able to stay somewhere, only wish we'd booked more than one night as we didn't want to leave!
