As Malta is a small island wherever you stay it is not a great distance to travel anywhere, the only problem is the ammount of traffic so can take a bit of time to get from one end to the other. Plenty of places to visit in Fgura from multiple restaurants and bars to museums, forts etc. & can catch a ferry to Valetta so plenty to see and do. There is also a land train that does a 45 minute tour of fgura

This is perfect for an overnight stay for an early flight. If you have your own transport, then it is worth staying at as it is really comfortable, clean and excellent value for money. It is located within a residential community, so there are no restaurants or shops nearby. Maja in the breakfast area does a great job, is very friendly and helpful. Free breakfast is a bonus.

We asked the owner for some help he didn’t hesitate to come and give some help we appreciate. we felt like home my daughter like it staying there so much specially the tarace view. Luqa is as close you will get of feeling like being on a movie set somewhere down in Mexico. Nice small friendly community, close to Airport , the Lidl has everything you need to survive the first couple of days on Malta or indefinetly. Very convenient for starters on Malta.

During our stay at Johnny M we intentionally stayed only onboard. However I know the area very well. It is in the center of Malta and you may reach anywhere by car and also by public transport. There is a great relaxing walk on the promenade on both sides of the yacht. on one side there is an area with rocky beach where you may relax and swim in clear blue sea. Lots of good restaurants surround the area and there are a lot of bars for all type of people. Johnny M cannot be in a better place.
