Everything was amazing, the house looks better in reality, it is super clean and comfortable, you have everything you need. On top of this, the garden is huge and amazing for a relaxing day outside, in the sun. I don’t have words to describe the hosts, they were so nice and attentive to our needs, they left some food and snacks for us, water and coffee, and even helped us with the transportation to the airport. Thank you! We will definitely book again when we will come back to Santiago for another Camino.

My daughter and I travelled from Canada 🇨🇦 to get here so it was a very long day. We walked from the airport at midnight to the property and it was easy to find. The property was very secure and communication with the owner was excellent. The room itself was super clean and renovated. private bathroom was spacious. Would absolutely stay here again.

Hotel Garcas is located in the small town of Lavacolla, 10 km from the centre of Santiago de Compostela. It offers a traditional Galician restaurant with a covered terrace. A good hotel with a good restaurant and friendly staff. The only hotel within walking distance of the airport (about a mile from the hotel to terminal). Of course taxis or buses are available also. I did walk, there is a path the last 1/2 mile that takes you to the baggage level. Up one level and you are at ticketing/departures. A nice airport BTW.

Situated just 11 km from Santiago de Compostela Cathedral, Pension Xacobeo Lavacolla provides accommodation in Lavacolla with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a housekeeping service. Pension is right on the Camino. We had a private twin room that was clean and comfortable. There is a large communal kitchen. There is a washer and dryer, but i couldn’t find any where to hang my laundry. The back yard was huge with loungers and tables. There are a few restaurants and a grocery store near by, just be aware that if you are here on a Sunday, there is only 1 restaurant available and grocery store is closed.

Situated in Lavacolla, 11 km from Santiago de Compostela Cathedral, A Concha has a terrace, private parking and rooms with free WiFi access. Jessica who checked us in and waited on us for dinner was the absolute best. My bag which I had transported did not arrive. I attempted several times by both phone and messages to contact the transport driver. He declined my calls. Jessica helped by calling the company-spent over 30 minutes on the phone to locate my bag. I believe if she had not taken the effort I would not have been reunited with my bag. Big Thanks Jessica. You are the best
