We were extremely pleased with the accommodation, it was very clean and comfortable, lots of attention to detail and we were made to feel really welcome by the hosts. Good parking outside the accommodation. We will definitely return if we are in the area again and highly recommend the place

Very clean, safe and well equipped apartment situated in a charming small town. Kind and friendly hosts, who gave quick response to our need. Home products such as honey and smoked trout are not to be missed. Highly recommended if you are on a trip to Karlovy Vary or some place eastbound.

Wonderful apartment, very bright, sunny, cozy and lovingly decorated. Modern designer renovation, all furniture and fittings are new, branded. Fully equipped kitchen. Delicious aromatic coffee, tea. Excellent location, hospitable and responsive hosts. There is a good bakery and grocery stores nearby. Close and good connections to Kassel. We will be happy to come back again.

a cozy small picturesque town. Beautiful nature, there are places to walk outside the city. The city center consists of old classic German houses aged 180 years. The architecture and spirit of the city are preserved, it was a very pleasant time.

Grebenstein is an enchanting medieval town that is straight of out of a fairy tale with its timbered houses and Rapunzel-like towers encircling the town center. It is fascinating to walk along the streets and read the inscriptions of who lived in the centuries-old, well-preserved houses. The ruins of a burg from the 1300s sit atop a nearby hill and afford a magnificent view of the town and surrounding countryside.
There is a newly renovated (2023) natural (chlorine-free) public pool with a lap pool, wading pool (with and without sandy bottom), toddler pool, concession stand. It is a lovely facility (with showers and changing rooms) and the daily admission is only 4 Euro per person.
For lunch or supper, I recommend Pizzeria Royal Grill. We had delicious gyros (doenner) and stromboli. For dinner, the Deutsche Eiche offered a wonderful schnitzel with a superb mushroom sauce.
Within a 20 minute drive, there are several castles to visit including Wilhelmsthal, Sababurg, and, in Kassel, Wilhelmshoehe with the Herkules statue and cascading water attraction.

A very cozy little house in a small drive from a great park and city. We spend our weekend in Bergpark and enjoyed it a lot. The home had all we needed for our two night stay and the host communicated with us well. It was clean and the beds (eventho two of them were matrasses on the floor) were very comfy. Wifi worked well and so did the applicances we used.
