i think would be easier if after we book to have a whatsapp comunication cause , when i am travelling to other countries is not so easy to get internet all the time , and check emails or even the booking messages, so when i got there i had lots of messagens from booking some different codes , i could not get straight way the keys, but the host as soon as she got a message from other german guest i asked for help in the place, she came to us. The whole house was very peaceful. I liked the room were you could make tea or coffee and that there was a small library. I also liked getting the help to find locations and the friendliness of the owner.

Great town with a good amount of shops, cafes and restaurants. Lovely architectural details in the old homes and buildings, and an active central plaza. A verynice place to spans the day. We had a fabulous BBQ dinner at Vasato (hubby had the Diablo Ribs, I had the vegan quinoa/sweet potato burger - both excellent) and then strolled around with a gelato from a local café.

Well, it's one of these little, extremely tidy small towns. It's got few places to eat out, a massive store with everything one may need, and it seems like a great place to stay for at least few days, to be able to explore the town itself and the neighbouring areas.

Loved the big room with all the facilities. The spa with multiple saunas, a swimming pool, a jacuzzi, and relaxation rooms. The use of the spa was included in the room rate.
The champagne breakfast spread was excellent.
There was also free covered parking.

Nice old town, which can be viewed in 1 or 2 hours. Free parking in blue zones just outside the centre. Many similar historic towns in around 30~40 minutes drive from here, so good location to explore this part of Hessen.

Bad Wildungen is a super small city. It has several historic attractions, a cool pedestrian “alt stadt” and several interesting shops. There are many things to see in immediate area. It is a great location to do day trips from.

This is an amazing little medieval town, high above a pretty river valley. The cathedral is small, but fascinating with beautiful sculptures and artworks. An excellent local museum in Fritzlar too. We stayed 4 days and used it as a central location to explore the stunning Waldeck area towns and villages, as well as a good day in nearby Kassel (fantastic museums, galleries, palaces and gardens) and a longer day trip to Eisenach to see the Bach house/museum (wonderful, especially the short 20 minute Bach concert using period instruments), the Wartburg castle and the forest walks. The only drawback to Fritzlar was that the evening dining options were pretty limited, but we stayed in an apartment so had some meals 'at home'.

The main reason for our visit was to visit our family that lives there. Plus we arrived when most of the summer activities and events were almost over. We managed to see one event which was the Potato festival and there were other activities taking place the last week of September, so unfortunately we couldn't be there. Bad Wildungen is noted for their big forests so one could go for lots of long walks and enjoy the outdoors. There and lots of lovely Summer activities that takes place there every year.
