Conveniently located less than one mile from Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport, this hotel in Dorval is nestled on 2 acres of landscaped gardens. I enjoyed the breakfast as well as the dinner very much. (Although a bit pricey) The proximity of the hotel to the airport as well as the free shuttle was a big plus. The bed was so comfy too!

L'Auberge de l'Aéroport Inn is located in Dorval, just 1 km from Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport. We stayed a night on a layover in Montreal. The shuttle was prompt. The staff were professional and very nice. The hotel could use some updating, but it was very clean and the bed was super comfortable. There is a small 24h store across the street for snacks. Looked like a safe place to park and fly.

Pointe-Claire is an easy, nice place to go around. Traffic at Office times can be a bit heavy but nothing to worry. Good Eating Places around, all kind of Cuisines, Greek, Italian, Middle Eastern, Indian/Pakistani, Bars Steak Houses. Fairview Mall, a great place for shopping, Coffee, Snacks. Nice Clean Place, Pointe-Claire

THe airport is ok.
THe airport is ok. Very out-dated. But it is cheap for EU Travel. At least the airline tickets are cheap. THe "Canadian-provided" services ranging from airport food to taxi service to airport hotels are off-the-charts expensive. Just designed to rake in every possible cent from travellers coming through. But on the whole, it is the closest international airport to me with EU/overseas/long-haul services. So I'll put up with it. Honestly, though, the facilities are so 1970's they should just bulldoze it and start again. Then again, they tried to create Mirabel... and that turnedinto a giant white elephant... and now is used for cargo and drag-racing or something. So once again... the PQ government ruined another chance to take Montreal into the first world. Oh well. As for the city of Dorval... get out of there before you get mugged! Head for Old Montreal or visit the locks in St. Anne. Dorval is the industrial suburb of an industrial suburb. Run, screaming away.

My brothers live in Pointe Claire so I am a but biased, but...
My brothers live in Pointe Claire so I am a but biased, but the area is really nice, especially down by the water, it's an older established area, very safe. Pointe Claire is nice and close to Montreal and is a location that makes a good starting point for travel to other locations as it is located really close to both the Trans Canada Highway and Highway 20.

We had one night stay in Dorval to fly out the next day. The people were friendly even though the area was close to the highway and didnt look the greatest. The hotel was perfect for our 1 night stay. We had comfy rooms, hot brekafast, and shuttle to the airport.

A peaceful town on the shores of a beautiful lake, with many parks along the lake. I walked in the "village" part of the town- a region of private houses and nice places to eat. Then I visited the Millennium Park, which I enjoyed very much. So if you have a day or half-day to spend near Montreal International Airport, touring Dorval is a great option.

The hotel was fine and the price adequate for what one gets. The only problem was the noise from the heavily trafficated motorway in front of our room. We spent the night with relaxing music from the iPhone.
