The staff was helpful and nice, there were amenities available at the ground floor in front of the elevators, and a laundry room for the guests of the hotel. The room was small but comfortable, the small hall in the corner of the entrance was very practical. The bathroom was also small but had everything we could need. We had a "do not disturb" sign on the door and the staff left a bag with clean towels, clean pajamas and additional amenities and two water bottles, it was truly appreciated!

Free WiFi is available throughout the property, and private parking is available on site. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Kofuku-ji Temple is 15 minutes on foot. The location is great: just next to the station and at walking distance to the sightseeing sites. The breakfast is wonderful. The only drawback was the waiting one morning for getting access to the breakfast room.

Facilities are roomy, comfortable, affordable and the staff are very friendly.

The accommodation features room service, a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage for guests. It’s a very traditional Japanese style, startup at 1899 which has over 125 years history. The interior was revamped, we enjoy the peaceful and friendly service from the staffs. Hotel’s location is excellent, next to the entrance of the Nara Park. They also offer a traditional Japanese Mocha Tea, in a tea room as a welcome drink, we love it very much. You can request in room massage service, there are 40mins / 60mins two options. The price is reasonable.

Located within 7.2 km of Iwafune Shrine and 10 km of Nozaki Kannon Shrine, Shionome house provides rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Ikoma. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. The accommodation offers a shared kitchen and bicycle parking for guests. I didn't expect it to be so but it was the BEST place I stayed during my 3 month trip to Japan. The owner is super friendly and helpful, same goes for the family members, I felt very welcome there, like a distant relative on vacation;) The breakfasts were delicious. The house itself is really beautiful, clean, and very close to the train station. It's very easy to get to all the Nara sightseeing spots. I cannot recommend this amazing place enough. If you hesitate - don't, you have found the best place to stay at around Nara:)

The ryokan has family rooms. A Wonderful full-japanese breakfast filled with a myriad if flavours and tastes which could keep me full for a whole day.

The property is around 17 km from Iwafune Shrine, 21 km from Higashiosaka Hanazono Rugby Stadium and 22 km from Nippon Christ Kyodan Shijonawate Church. Suehiro Park is 25 km from the hotel and Nozaki Kannon Shrine is 25 km away. Just wow. Great room, awesome facilities. The only thing, we had a cockroach outside while enjoying the onsen. It climbed out of the sewer or something and I was terrified to death :)
