The restaurant has an excellent chef and the food is very delicious. The pizza and pasta day is a good idea, the pizza is very good as if we were eating it in Italy.Very helpful, kind and always smiling staff, the waiters are excellent and quick to serve. Built in 1853 and right on the picturesque Fürstenweg, a small path leading to Neuschwanstein Castle, Gutshof zum Schluxen enjoys a quiet location in the middle of fields with grazing cows and horses, and Queen Marie von Bayern stayed here with her sons Ludwig and Otto. Füssen and Reutte are only a 10-minute drive away. Loved the quiet location in the mountains, friendly staff, and that it’s dog-friendly.

Decorated in a country house style, the elegant rooms at the Landhotel Guglhupf feature a private bathroom and high-quality wooden furniture. Amazing little guesthouse with views over the castle! Hosts are very kind and helpful - there is cake in the afternoons. Breakfast was tasty with a wide range of meats, cheeses, breads, spreads, eggs and sweet things. Room was immaculately clean with a little balcony that looked out onto the castle. Parking in front of the building is very convenient. Only a few minutes drive from the castles.
