The individual houses are located in the forest with a lot of amazing animals and green plants. A rooms are really clean, comfortable and well equipped. The hosts are extremely kind and polite people, who can arrange a jeep safari in the Yala National Park if you need. With the delicious dinner in the garden was an unforgettable experience for me staying here and it was my favorite accomodation during our three weeks in Srí Lanka. (out of 8)

But what truly made our stay special was the staff's warm hospitality. They made us feel like family, not just guests. And the location? Perfect! Close to Yala National Park, they even helped us arrange an unforgettable safari experience. We also loved lounging by the swimming pool, a perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring. I had the pleasure of staying at Farm Villa Resort in Katharagama for two nights, and it was a wonderful and memorable experience from start to finish! 🌿 From the moment we arrived, the welcome was warm and heartfelt. The staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with anything. Special mention to the front office team – truly a gem in hospitality! The room was spacious, the bathroom was very big, and the overall comfort . The clean and inviting swimming pool was perfect for cooling off and relaxing in the serene atmosphere. What makes Farm Villa Resort truly special is its beautiful location surrounded by nature. The resort is set amidst lush paddy fields, and there's a charming little lake flowing through the property, creating a peaceful, scenic environment ideal for rest and reflection. I enjoyed walking through the paddy fields, listening to the birds in the mornings, and even got to pick fresh fruits from the garden! 🍌🌾 It's also conveniently located – just a short walk to the sacred Kirivehera and Katharagama Dewalaya, making it perfect for both pilgrims and nature lovers.One of the biggest highlights was the full-day Yala Safari arranged by the hotel – an absolutely amazing adventure! 🐘🦁 We saw incredible wildlife, and everything was perfectly organized with a knowledgeable guide.The food was another standout. The traditional Sri Lankan dinner was flavorful and authentic, clearly made with care and love. The breakfast offered plenty of variety, and every meal was beautifully presented. The dining team was attentive and courteous, adding to the overall great experience.In summary, Farm Villa Resort offers far more than just a place to stay – it's a place to connect with nature, enjoy delicious food, and experience genuine Sri Lankan hospitality. Definately book here. Everything was perfect. Friendly staff, great food and plenty of it, best accomodation we’ve had in Sri Lanka, beautiful attention to detail and idealic location so close to the Yala NP. Gabriel organised the safari for us with guides that he trusts and they did a great job. We saw a leopard, an elephant, toucans, monkeys, crocodiles, spotted deer and lots of birdlife. Can’t recommend booking this place highly enough.

I recently stayed at Rathna Holiday Resort during my visit to Kataragama Devalaya and was incredibly impressed! The location is incredibly convenient—just a short walk to the Kataragama Devalaya and very close to the town. Despite being near the town, the environment is calm and peaceful, especially at night, offering a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. The room and washroom were spotless and in excellent condition, providing all the comfort I needed. What truly stood out was the stunning mountain view from the location, which made my stay even more memorable. Overall, Rathna Holiday Resort is an excellent choice for anyone visiting Kataragama. Highly recommend!t

It was a very interesting and cool place to stay. We had a great time there with the owner and the other tourists. The dinner was very tasty and was prepared as a buffet so that you can spend time together with everyone. After dinner there was a musical attraction from the owner, which was also very nice. We also did the safari there. We traveled with the bikes and there was enough space to have them at our bungalow. Thank you very much for everything!
