The room was excellent and clean, and the people running it were incredibly helpful and friendly. The location was also excellent as it was only a short walk to the main shopping area and a short train to the memorials! Would definitely recommend!

We loved this very cosy clean apartment. Excellent facilities, many thoughtful touches ensuring all our needs were met. Bed linens etc very aesthetically pleasing. Great location, easy walk to public transport, great cafés and restaurants. Friendly communication with the host. Gwangju is a great place to visit.

There are many great restaurants and things to do in the area! The hotel and room were so clean and comfortable. The futuristic feel to the hotel definitely made it feel like it should be a ☆☆☆☆☆ hotel. If this is an option on your list, just book it! You won't regret it.

It is a fascinating part of Korea. I used to city subway to travel around. I particularly enjoyed walking the areas adjacent to the subway.

The room was very spacious,clean and the beds were very comfortable.Great location, Bus stops and metro station were just 3 min. on foot from the accommodation. The shared kitchen was always clean and everything you need is there. There is also a 7-eleven just around the corner!

Yo fellow backpackers!! I highly, highly recommend King's House to you! My room was 801호 대박하우스. This place is close to a Traditional market that allowed me to find good and not-so-pricey food. This is close to a bus that goes straight to Mudeungsan to hike. It's 20mins walk to Gwangju Train station as well. The staffs are so kind and they check up on me and my needs. I may have requested too much and they never complained but I am really thankful for the kindness. It's a good safe budget place with a nice view of Mudeungsan and sunrise so it's also relaxing. I feel like that it's a dormitory sized place. I would love to rent this place again when I return. just 30usd for 2 night and 3days. You have a comfry bed and your own bathroom!!
