Fantastic place to stay, the rooms were lovely and very traditional, and having dinner and breakfast included as part of the stay are truly wonderful additions to the experience. Our stay at this modern hotel on Miyajima Island was fantastic from start to finish. The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable — a perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. Although the hotel is about a kilometer from the ferry terminal, they offer a free and very convenient transfer service, which made everything super easy. The location is excellent, just a short walk to the famous Itsukushima Shrine, the iconic torii gate, and also close to the ropeway up Mount Misen. We chose a plan with dinner and breakfast included, and the dining experience was truly exceptional — dinner was a beautifully presented multi-course fine dining experience, and breakfast was a traditional Japanese-style meal that we really enjoyed. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and check-in, check-out, and arranging the transfer were all effortless. The small public bath was a great way to relax, especially the outdoor section, which was tastefully decorated with plants and felt amazing on a chilly night after a day of hiking. Highly recommended for a peaceful and luxurious stay on Miyajima!

It was really easy to find and conveniently located. The Japanese style room was really comfortable. The owner is so kind and friendly. She kept our bags for us so we could do some more exploring before catching the ferry back and gave us little Christmas gifts when we left which was a lovely gesture. One of the highlights of our trip. Highly recommend.

An absolutely beautiful traditional ryokan set right on the edge of the park and surrounded by gardens. When I arrived, I received such a warm welcome and was escorted to my room and given tea, a snack, clothing and towels for my stay. My room was spacious and tastefully decorated - seating area by the window was a highlight to sit at in the morning and write or read, surrounded by trees and nature. The onsen was immaculately clean and relaxing. I was a little nervous about the traditional kaiseki dinner and breakfast because I’ve never tried anything like that before, but it was delicious and thoughtfully presented. The service was exceptional and it was great having the same host for both dinner and breakfast.

This accommodation had the BEST food and views we have ever experienced. The rooftop bath is a dream and I got to use it almost exclusively by myself because the hotel is small. The staff were fabulous. I would recommend staying here and using a direct ferry to Peace Park over staying in Hiroshjma and day-tripping to Miyajima. Iroha is well worth the high price tag.

The location parallel to the main street was excellent and very convenient. The decor and style of the accommodation was tasteful, unique, typical of a traditional Japanese Inn. There was a private wooden onsen on site which was fantastic. Welcome bread and honey, water and snacks were provided. I would have been happy to stay there for several days, especially in the summer to enjoy the courtyard, balcony and light to the fullest extent.
