Was warm and cosy and decor was quirky and fun. We enjoyed our brief stay and it was nice to park at the door in the pouring rain.

Was very nice, but could use some black out curtains. We stayed in the summer when the sun didn't go down, and she was bright as bright as could be. Otherwise, it's very good place. The staff was awesome, and food was good.

We stayed there for 3 nights and especially Adam was extremely helpful and very friendly and he made our stay in Hellissandur special and unforgetable! The breakfast buffet is really great and we enjoyed very much dinner at the hotel restaurant "Murals". Hellissandur Adventure Hotel is really the ideal spot to discover Snaefellsness Penninsula.

Quirky, welcoming decor with great personality providing a sense of its history and who used to live in the place. Spacious with lots of light, well set-up for self catering and close to services and the coast. Probably our favourite accommodation we stayed in in Iceland.

So, this review is made in the context that this is being a hostel not a 3 star hotel. We really liked it. The staff were friendly and helpful and found somewhere to store our tandem bicycle the kitchen was well equipped, there was a bar with an honesty box, the communal space was large and warm and furnished in a mid-century retro style, the shared bathroom was clean. This is excellent hostel accommodation

The ambience was amazing. The people staying and taking care of the property are amazing. It has a very positive vibe and a funky atmosphere. All that you need post long drives to relax.

It's not a fancy hotel but the location is lovely, there are restaurants nearby, the staff is really kind, the breakfast is great. Does it need refurbishments? Absolutely. But if you're just staying for a night, I think it's a good choice.

Very nice accommodation, immersed in an atmosphere of comfort. I especially liked the soft and warm bed, the collection of CDs with a player and a lot of interesting and colorful books. The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable staying. Highly recommend and hope to come back again

This was one of favorite stays in Iceland and the vacation home was huge with kitceh and 1. bed with gorgeous ocean view right on top of a cliff..Beautiful location direct at the sea, very clean and huge patio with ocean view, High speed wifi and awesome collections of traditional Icelandic songs with a CD player. Really friendly host and will def come back and stay here again. 10/10 for sure for this wonderful stay
