The location is excellent. The area is amazing surrounded by forest, view to the lake. Nice and peaceful. The food was very delicious in the restaurant and quite cheap. There was wide selection breakfast. The staff was very helpful and friendly, especially the lady with blond hair served our dinner. If I remember well, her name was Erzsébet.

I knew that I wanted to visit Lillafured but, beyond that, I didn't know much. Hotel Szeleta turned out to be an excellent find. For me, the Palota Lillafured was completely out of my budget-range... but Hotel Szeleta was not :) . Hotel Szeleta and Lillafured are easily reached from Miskolc... I took the tramway from the train station all of the way to the end, and then transferred to Bus 5 or Bus 15, both of which head up to Lillafured. Hotel Szeleta is in a pretty town in the valley called Also-Hamor, so downstream from Lillafured. I think it was about 1- 1.5 km to walk to Lillafured by way of Felso-Hamor, another pretty town with the stream running through it. I was able to have a reasonable lunch at the restaurant in Palota and could walk their beautiful grounds... so it all worked out. In Also Hamor, there appeared to be some restaurants geared toward tourists... but as it was off-season they were not open yet.

Everything was excellent! The location of the hotel is very good in relation to the cave bath. The hotel facilities are very nice, modern and everywhere was clean. We had a nice big room with a beautiful view to the mountains. There was good internet connection. The spa facilities were excellent we really enjoyed everything, I personally liked the salt-room. We stayed there half board. The food was excellent, with a great choice of various hot and cold dishes, lots of fruits, cakes, ice-cream and various hot and cold drinks to follow. There was live music during the evening meal. From the moment we entered the hotel all the staff were very nice and helpful. We had a great time there and cannot wait to return. Thank you.

Everything was so perfect! The team was amazing and consisted of such nice and professional people. We had dinner twice during our stay and it was the best we've had in a long time. The breakfast was also really great. We arrived too early, but within twenty minutes our room was ready, which we really appreciated! I also want to mention I was pleasantly surprised that they made the bed and cleaned the room right after the first night. Don't hesitate to choose this hotel. The hotel room was excellent, equipped with everything a couple might need during their stay. The breakfast was abundant and everything was very delicious. The hotel complex has several à la carte restaurants, and a particular advantage is that you can charge the meals to your room. The presence of a go-kart track within the complex was the ultimate highlight, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The wellness area was clean, and during our visit, it was used by few people, making it perfect.

Absolutely everything about this Hotel is wonderful! The staff, the location, the food and the Hotel itself. The gardens are gorgeous and provide a peaceful haven for relaxing. We had a half board (breakfast and dinner) included in our stay. These were buffets and the selection and quality was very good. There was a guitarist playing in the dining room each morning and live music in the lounge at night. There is nothing to want for at this Hotel. It is as beautiful as the photos!

What a beautiful place to stay! our room was spacious and elegantly appointed. We had a delightful view from our balcony over the picturesque gardens. We walked around the gardens and went for a ride on the little train. We could have easily stayed longer.

Very relaxing though it is 15 min drive from miskolc center but lot of activities around hotel such as forest train,boating and waterfalls and location was excellent surrounding by forests and hills overall very relaxing to stay breakfast and dinner was very good

It was an incredible experience, a comfortable little cottage in the middle of the woods, with the world's kindest host, and homemade dinner, which was one of the most delicious I've ever had on a trip like this. My partner and I came for a hiking trip around Lillafüred, and this was the most perfect little stop for our evening! I absolutely recommend it to everyone thinking about staying in the area.
