Gisela and Celestine were fantastic hosts. The house was pristine clear, the bed was very comfortable and they were very helpful not only with check in, parking, breakfast, but also gave a lot of tips and good stories about Basel and their own lives. I’d book this place just to spend the day hearing about their lives and their trips.

The staff! So friendly and welcoming! Truly exceptional. The hotel itself was very nice and comfortable, judging from outside. It looks more like a condominium or training center (which partly is). The beds were very comfortable, I slept like a baby. And the surrounding area was very quiet. My highlight was the check out, but since I don’t want to spoil, you need to stay over. All over great experience.

The owners ,especially Celestine is very generous,helpful and kind.You feel like home,place is very clean,quiet and easy to get the centre,do not hesitate to stay here.

Very friendly staff. Facilities are located in a nice and quiet neighborhood. The tram station is about 3min walk away and can take you directly to the center. The tram ticket is included in the price. The breakfast is ok, but the choices might get tedious if staying for a week or so. There is a gym in the basement of the hotel, with enough equipment to keep you going. There is also free of charge spring water provided.
