Amazingly restored historic building with a very relaxed and friendly, yet privacy respecting way. Common areas are beautiful and the whole place is an inspiration. Podenhaus is located comfortably in Bad Aussee in a way that it’s easy to make day-trips to nearby lakes. Bicycle rent is also nearby. Will surely be back!

We had everything we needed in the apartment, plus an amazing view from the terrace ! Swimming pool was a nice addition to the facility. It was very kind of the host who had prepared a surprise for us. If you’re travelling by car, the property is close to Hallstatt but the region is not crowded and you don’t struggle where to park. I would recommend to stay here if you want to avoid crowds and noise and enjoy the idyllic atmosphere .

Loved this place! We arrived when it was raining, so we had a great surprise when we woke up and had a breakfast with such a beautiful view! Our room was clean and the place itself were so quiet, had the best sleep! Also the breakfast were good.

This place really exceeded my expectations The rooms were clean and quite spacious. The stairs were a bit creeky, but for me added to the experience of staying at a 150 year old hotel. Staff were really nice! Strongly recommend to solo travelers who are used to shared bathrooms!

Perfect place to stay in the area, for short or longer trip. We stayed in apartment Luzia and it was great inside. Newly renovated, modern amd clean. Kitchen, living room with sofa, tv and table and a sleeping room. Self check in, we even didn't have a chance to speak to the owner. Car park for few cars so enough space to accomodate one car per apartment. The house looks a bit old from outside and at the staircase but apartment inside was really nice. Highly recommended for a stay with family or friends.
