The pool was a sparkling oasis, especially in the golden glow of the afternoon sun. We spent hours there, floating under the sky and forgetting the outside world. The breakfast each morning was a royal feast, with fresh fruits, pastries, and local delicacies presented with care and warmth. But what truly sets Hotel Amanda apart is the service. Every staff member treated us not as guests, but as honored friends. Thoughtful, attentive, and genuinely kind — it’s rare to feel so seen and so welcome. One big point to mention is the host/owner, she made sure that our stay was perfect, she was so sweet and always ready to help. She definitely made the stay extra special so 5 stars to her for sure.

Set just 11 km from Maobitou Park, HUA B&B offers accommodation in Hengchun with access to free bikes, a garden, as well as a lift. Breakfast is included and everyday the staff will ask you tick whatever you need. The breakfast is the local Taiwan food and the 蛋餅 is just so good. I want to sincerely thank the lady who gave me fruits every day since it was extremely hot during my stay. She not only washed and cut the fruit into small pieces. On my day of check-out, she even put the mangos into a little plastic box which is so convenient for me to eat on my way to the next stop. The staff are warm and welcoming.

The place is very quiet and relaxing, making for a great stay. The owner is incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to help us when our motorbike had a battery problem. They even invited us to join them on Chinese New Year’s Eve dinner, which was such a kind gesture. We’re so grateful to have met such warm and wholesome people. You truly feel welcomed and safe here.
