The guesthouse is surrounded by forest, and although a road runs nearby, it is not visible from the windows, creating a sense of peace and tranquillity. The rooms are not large, but very clean. Clean bathroom and bedding. Comfortable, large beds. A balcony with a table, chairs, and flowers. A common dining room with tables, table football, and a fireplace. Elevator. There are no dining options nearby without driving, which might be an issue for some. Personally, I didn’t mind the lack of a restaurant on-site.

The Hotel Pokljuka is located on Pokljuka Plateau, in the heart of the Triglav National Park amid large forests and high mountains, about a 20-minute drive from Bled and Bohinj. Very well located, calm, peaceful, surrounded by forest, near lakes Bled and Bohinj. Rooms were clean and comfy, breakfast was good. Plenty of activities nearby and in hotel (playground for kids, gym, etc.) Very helpful receptionist / hotel manager who was flexible and helped us as we were late in arriving on the first day.
