This hotel is situated by Lake Munksjön in the heart of Jönköping, less than 10 minutes’ walk from Jönköping Central Station. It offers free WiFi and free sauna and gym access. Exceptional staff! Gave us breakfast to go because we already checkout before 5 in the morning. Excellent rooms, even the smaller ones. We had 6 hotels on our trip, this was clearly the best out of it. If we visit Jönköping ever again, this will be the place to be!

Situated in a beautiful 19th century building in Jönköping, Elite Stora Hotellet boasts beautiful views over Lake Vättern and a convenient city location. Very good size room. Free hotel bikes and helmets. Helpful friendly staff. The hotel location relative to train, bus, shops, beach and lake was fantastic. Nearby were numerous lakeside bars and restaurants. Overall a very calm location.

It was a lovely place in the nature, yet close enough to a large-ish city. The garden was a great place to enjoy a drink before sleeping in the comfortable bed.
