Very helpful staff. Great breakfast. Lovely decor and furniture. Excellent location. Minor quibble: my room was a bit gloomy and the small balcony meant I didn't want to spend much time there. With two people it could even be claustrophobic.

Amazing service, location and rooms. Exceeded our expectations, given the other 4 star hotels in the other islands. A special mention to Ruben at the front desk and Inĕs of the breakfast staff. The first welcomed us warmly and quickly gave us all the information, the second made our breakfasts great, making us start the morning with a big and friendly smile. Definitely recommend to any Açores traveler. Just one suggestion: add something under the bathroom sink to hide the pipes and set one's toiletries.

Situated in Praia da Vitória, 100 metres from Grande Beach, Hostel da Palmeira features accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking and a terrace. A brand new hostel, very nice equipped. Right near the city beach and near the center. Nice breakfast and very helpful staff. Great breakdast. All rooms with AC if you would need. My dormitory had a nice balcon and his own new bathroom! It's a great place to stay. I could leave my bikebag there, without any issue.
