We really enjoyed the book-themed atmosphere with comfortable spots to sit and read everywhere. Our room was excellent, and all the amenities were perfect. The pool was a highlight and a great spot to relax. The breakfast was fine and provided a good start to our day.

The staff was very forthcoming and friendly - the cook would always chat with us in the morning and even the owners passed by to introduce themselves. Everything was very personal and you could see and feel the love that is being poured into this hotel!

Location is perfect. Staff super friendly. Rooms very clean and big. Food wonderful. I think it is one of the best hotels I have ever been to.

Situated in Praia da Vitória, 100 metres from Grande Beach, Hostel da Palmeira features accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking and a terrace. Everything about this Hostel was just perfect for my needs. It is very, very clean, comfortable beds with good quality bedding and pillows and importantly plenty of hot water. I stayed in late April in a private room which was just right for me. I can’t comment on the bunk rooms but they looked well appointed. The kitchen was spotless and available for self catering, just make sure you room number you food in the fridge. I’m happy to share, please don’t take. Whilst the breakfast selection was just continental, there was plenty to enjoy. The staff were just lovely, also very kind and helpful. It’s close to a large and a small supermarket, other shops, cafes and close to the sea and promenade walk. I’m extremely sensitive to the chemicals in plug in air fresheners and even that was accommodated for.

Caparica Azores Ecolodge is a project conceived as a generous and open place in its conception and operation, dedicated to meetings and exchange of ideas. Everything. We live in the island so it was the best local getaway we could hope for for our anniversary. It’s very private and personalized. The breakfast was way more than one could expect. Will go back again next year.

Boasting city views, Casa de Santa Catarina provides accommodation with a garden, around 1.7 km from Riviera Beach. Beautiful authentic house. Thick walls, good sound insulation. Easy check-in/check-out. Very friendly and kind hosts. The house is clean and has everything you need. We really enjoyed. Highly recommended.

Offering an outdoor pooll, ALLuar Lodge is set in Porto Judeu. Free private parking is available on site. Every room at this guest house is air conditioned and is fitted with a flat-screen TV. Comfortable and a great price. It was nice to be upgraded to a larger unit when we could sit on our balcony and eat a wonderful breakfast or watch the sunset.
