Dom Dinis is an amazing guesthouse to stay at. The location is superb, the staff is very friendly and it's very clean. The town itself is a must to visit if you're in the area. We loved every minute and highly recommended this quaint place.

Ever since seeing pictures I've wanted to stay at this convent hotel and it was even better than I expected. If you stay you can explore the property freely, and there is so much to see. Annex room was decent enough but I'd stay in the convent itself next time. Enjoyed the adults-only pool and were able to order G&Ts delivered. Breakfast was also very nice. Walked one of the trails (6km) around the property. The on-site restaurant is very pretty and the food is quite good, though the restaurants in the nearest village are better.

We had an absolute crush on Hotel Cicioso in Évora. It’s a charming boutique hotel that has recently opened, and everything has been thoughtfully designed with great taste and refinement. The architecture is stunning, blending authenticity and modern elegance beautifully. The interior decoration is exquisite, with every detail contributing to a warm and soothing atmosphere. The welcome was flawless — the staff are incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help. We truly appreciated the peacefulness of the place, the comfort of the rooms, and the overall quality of the facilities. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. Our stay at Casa Az-Zagal Hotel was absolutely wonderful. The hotel itself is like a step back in time, with each room styled uniquely to reflect the charm of a traditional Portuguese home. It’s full of character but still manages to be incredibly comfortable and inviting. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by Gonçalo, the General Manager. He showed us around and shared the hotel’s history, which added so much depth to our stay. He was friendly, approachable, and clearly passionate about the place, which really set the tone for the entire experience. The hotel’s atmosphere is incredibly peaceful, and the pool area, though small, is beautifully designed - a perfect spot to relax and take in the serene surroundings. But let’s talk about the food - because it was the absolute highlight of our stay. Trust me, as someone who’s a serious foodie and has eaten at countless restaurants, this is not a compliment I give lightly: it was the best food I’ve ever had. The head chef is not just talented but also incredibly warm and passionate. Each dish was a masterpiece, rooted in traditional Portuguese flavors, and the chef took the time to explain the story behind each one. We even had a great chat and discovered he’s a Manchester fan (great taste!) Every bite was an experience, and the meals are something we’ll be dreaming about for years to come. Casa Az-Zagal is a truly special place. From the welcoming staff to the peaceful setting and the unforgettable food, it’s a stay we’ll always remember. If you’re looking for somewhere that feels both authentic and luxurious, this is it - you won’t regret it!

After 14 days of traveling around Portugal, Villa Dos R's was a real relaxation. We rested well. The apartment was spacious, very clean and comfortable. The pool is clean, the water is pleasant for swimming. Excellent food, both breakfast and dinner, which we paid extra. Wonderful!
